Kinda pricey for little food you get...however, the food was delicious! The Clay Pot dessert could of been made of edible chocolate but it was still a cute presentation 🌱
The food is much improved! It's a great spot; sitting outside, it was lovely. But, FYI: It's pretty pricey!
Excellent service, Delicious food and great views. The weather was perfect.
Overpriced food; very small portions.
Beautiful setting and the food was very good. Service a bit slow; we had trouble getting the heater/umbrella set up.
Our server Brad was horrible. He also is a thief who didn’t return our change and walk away with an additional underserved $50 tip. We went there to celebrate our friends birthday and was extremely disappointed. The food and drinks were not worth the amount of money that we spent and we won’t be returning. I much rather have ate at a shack. The ambiance was nice but that’s only due to it being on the marina.
The experience was good except that a friend sent over a bottle of champagne for our celebration but I wasn’t expecting it so when the waiter began opening it without explanation, I was confused. The staff didn’t seem to know where the champagne came from and never bothered to come back with any further information. You’d think when someone sends a $100 bottle of champagne to a table that they would relay who it is from and also the message that was suppose to come with it. I only learned after dinner that there was a beautiful note that should have been relayed. I was disappointed in that lack of care, but the meal was good and the view spectacular.
Outside patio-dining gives you additional unusual scenic marina view and food was excellent and great. Amazing place to have an weekend brunch!!!!
Wonderful. Lots of food for the 6-course, and lugged a lot of leftovers back home. Can’t beat the outdoor ambiance.
Food tasted awful!! The tables were dirty n smelly.
Love the scenery great crab dip
Amazing service
The food is so bad.
Great food, accommodating staff.
We ordered the 6th-course brunch menu and we did enjoy our food and service, but we never received our 4th-course meal. We didn't realize this till later leaving the restaurant. I tried to call the restaurant regarding that, but no one has picked up or returned my call.
Very disappointed by the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. We were sat outside on the patio. Everything would have been fine with the ambiance if we didn’t have a full drink in a solo cup drop right next to our table and practically soak our food.
The patio we were sat at was underneath guests rooms where there was a full party going on. Not to mention constant cigarette buds were being thrown down from the same guest room. Very disruptive and not what you want to be happening when you are dinning somewhere.
The food was way too expensive for what was actually plated. The Brussel sprouts that we ordered were not fully cooked and still hard.
Overall very disappointed with the service, we sat at 8:40 and were told the kitchen closed in 20 mins. Basically being rushed to ordered and pushed out the door as soon as we got there. Not a great dining experience. I would recommend dining else were!
Thank you for such a great experience. My boyfriend and I loved it and will be back in the near future.
We tried the 6 course brunch. Interesting choices (some tex-mex, some Korean inspired). Far too much food for two people, but the view is great, the atmosphere is nice and overall we spent a pleasant time in the marina.
Definitely a find! Delicious food..we loved the mussels, the scallops and the amazing Boston lettuce salad. Each had an unusual and wonderful combination of flavors and textures. Gorgeous view of the harbor.
We took my best friend's mother here for a special birthday dinner. Absolutely beautiful setting. Service was helpful and professional from the hostess through bussers. She had the salmon and said it was the best meal she remembers. Couldn't have been a better experience.
SALT provided an excellent atmosphere, the food and views were exactly what we we looking for the the dinner meeting. The server was exemplary and provided our group with excellent service.
We are going to book future dinner meetings there.
Business Meeting
Most likely, due to COVID and difficulty in planning what to hold in inventory, the choices on the menu were limited. Although the food was good, we found that the value received was not. If there are just a few items a guest does not like (e.g. the mussels) and if someone does not feel like paying for a steak @ $112, the number of other choices is pretty small. The Gnochi were good, but more of a side dish rather than a main dish.
The ambiance is certainly nice. We sat outside on the patio. The service was good.
It has been over a year since I have been to Salt. It is normally our go-to favorite. While I understand the current times make things much harder for restaurants, the limited and extremely overpriced menu made it much less appealing. I showed up on time for our reservation. I requested an outdoor table but got an indoor table. All the guests in front of me got an outdoor seat. It took about 10 minutes to get seated so I think I got the short end of the stick on tables. If I had arrived early for my reservation, I might have been seated outside.
They took the Hummus off the menu, which was my favorite. The filet was $65 and came with 6 tiny potatoes. My husband's pork chop was not good. The wine I ordered was out of stock.
I have always loved this place and I hope they can return to normal. I will give them some time before I return but I will check the menu online before I go to see if there has been an improvement.
It was my partners and I anniversary
The waiter was wonderful, he made sure we had the best drinks and food. He was very attentive and great. The food was delicious especially the dessert part (the pot).
I will visit this place again
Good view, good service, good distance between tables. Food was ok.
Brunch was nice. Atypical and a huge amount of quality food for the money. 6 courses of Tex-mex with Korean influences? Okay! Have always enjoyed this space, and the chef didn’t disappoint.
They were only serving brunch at 1:45 on a Wednesday - which is weird. Any they rushed us to order as soon as we sat down saying they were going to stop serving food at 2. So we ordered and then right at 2 they brought us a menu for happy hour. Seemed super shady like they were trying to get us to order full price in hurry before happy hour kicked in. All very odd.
My server could have been nicer. Seemed annoyed at us, but otherwise everything was great!
Salt has always had the best view and ambience in the Marina, but now it seems they have upped their game in the quality of their food and service too. Thank you, Marcos, for making our evening so nice. We're neighbors, so we'll be back again soon.
We went for the dine LA brunch which turned into their smokehouse brunch. Honestly for $75 I seriously thought they could have provided better quality food and more libations for the price tag.Honestly I felt like most of the food was hotel pool side food that’s just overpriced because of ambience
Had the 10 course brunch
It was sooo great, all the food was good service was great!
View great also !
Great 10 course brunch...so much fun!
Loved the paired drinks.
This was an amazing experience the seating the service and the food was delicious had the BBQ 6 series food experience amazing.
The Smoque on the Water tasting menu was so awesome. Excellent bbq. Drinks and food. Will be back again.
Something new but great !
Great service! Great view and ambiance. You get what you pay for the ambiance, as it is pricy and the food is above average but not amazing.
Drinks, happy hour & crab dip were awesome! Good times with my sister & bestie! ✊🏾🥰
Ambiance was good, we were seated right away, outside seating was perfect. Nice view of the marina, fire pit and not crowded. We came in for our 1pm lunch reservation. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food on their 10 course menu, was too much we thought oh we can handle it, it was filling, delicious and too much! We had a second meal out of it at home. It’s a relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoyed 6 course brunch to celebrate a special occasion. Service was outstanding with all tables filled. I recommend and will definitely return.
