The service and staff was excellent. Food was very tasty and excellent quality. Portions are a bit small, but I guess that’s not abnormal for fine dining.
There was a very loud party dining there that didn’t help the experience. Can’t blame SALT for this; they really good job of recognizing the issue and moving us to a new table without us needing to ask. That was very nice.
Would love to go back.
Celebrated our Anniversary at Salt last night. A wonderful experience. We did Chef's tasting menu with wine pairings and it was absolutely incredible. Our waitress, Shanna, was knowledgeable about the food, wine, and salt. We appreciated her insights throughout the meal. Also notable was the guitarist playing some great recognizable hits in a beautiful classical fashion.
Spending that kind of $ on a meal leads to very high expectations and Salt exceeded ours.

Fantastic food (lamb & cobia dishes) and service, one of the best meals we’ve had. Guitarist was amazing. Can’t go wrong.
We loved the presentation of bread, butter, and salts from “around the world.” The prawn and grits appetizer was a surprise - perhaps the best appetizer we’ve ever had. Cobia with basmati rice (with a few really special seasonings) was perfect. Guitarist was excellent, volume just right for dining. Most of the reservations available on short notice will be for around 9, but this experience in our opinion would be well worth it!
We celebrated my mom’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. The food was incredible, totally exceeded expectations. A definite must! Service was phenomenal, food was fantastic, the entire experience was one of the best I’ve ever had.
One of the most amazing meals I have ever had. Every last bite was delicious beyond belief. The service and attention to detail from the staff went above and beyond as well.

Matt was our server and he was absolutely amazing! The cocktails, the chef’s salmon appetizer, snapper ceviche, halibut, lamb loin, and the flourless torte were incredible! The service and ambience were so delightful.

My husband and I were in Amelia Island for our honeymoon and wanted to end our week with a special dinner. After dining at Salt we were so happy with the service and overall quality of the meal. Stacey was very helpful and was great with guiding us through the menu and suggesting a few of his favorites. The guitarist was a wonderful addition and great background music for the overall night. We will definitely be back next time we visit!

Celebrating our anniversary. They created a very personalized experience. The entire staff wished us a happy anniversary. live musician, Taylor, asked us what our wedding song was and on his break proceeded to learn the song and played it extraordinarily well. The meals we got were spectacular, best I’ve had in over a year.
Service was excellent. However the menu was very restricted, few choices, little flexibility. We have dined at Salt many times in the past when the food was spectacular. It just didn’t seem as much as a showcase for food as it has been in the past. We will return and recommend this restaurant.
Dinner and the whole experience was as perfect as it could have possibly been! Every detail was in place and they were flexible and patient. Music was great, host was super kind and helpful, service was impeccable and the chef came out for a brief visit! This new chef is top shelf as he has spent many years with Chef Eric Ripert. Highly recommend to all foodies out there! Thank you, Salt! My husbands birthday was very special!

Stacey our server was very good and the meal overall was not a disappointment. The amusebouch was a little flat, more or less like drinking salty salsa but gazpacho is maybe an acquired taste. Second course was scallops with a chili finish and light broth with octopus and chickpea. This was a really nice light first course that had a nice heat to it. We had steak with celery root purée that was good but maybe not memorable. It was “steak”, probably could get it anywhere. I’d say the only negative is that for a “tasting” it wasn’t super creative or craveable. What really made each dish shine was the wine pairing. The Chablis with the scallops and the French cab with the steak were both really good.
This was our 4th time at Salt and it’s still the best restaurant on the island by a lot.
The place we always choose for special occasions and celebrations. Outstanding experience at every level. Stacey (our server) was very helpful with fabulous suggestions that we might not have noticed.

We visit the Ritz Carlton each summer for our family vacation. We have been to salt many times over the years. On the night we went it was our daughter’s 20th birthday. I asked to be seated next to Taylor who plays the guitar. He is an incredible musician and we love to guess what songs he is playing. Our server, Shanna, has waited on us several times over the years. She is excellent! They do have a new chef so the menu is slightly different but we enjoyed all of our entrées just the same.
