Overall was a wonderful atmosphere and meal for a date night. Food portions were good and displayed versatility from the chef. Drinks were heavy handed on the alcohol which left the overall taste unbalanced.
Chefs special steak on the salt block was amazing, but maybe a little more steak than 5 slices? Sheesh.
We visit the island yearly and always eat here. In the past, it’s been memorable. Outstanding service, food, ambience.

Incredible experience! Matthew took exceptional care of us and we couldn't have asked for anything more. His recommendations were on point and he made us feel like we were the only ones in the whole restaurant. Marie and Cole were also lovely and joyful and made the experience so much more. Made our one year anniversary even more special that it already was!! Thank you!!!

Always a great experience. We’ve dined here about 5 times for special occasions and it never disappoints. I’ve tried all the seafood dishes and the sea bass and halibut are my two favorites while the ribeye is my husband’s favorite. The grilled romaine salads were also delicious. Save room for a soufflé! Shanna was our server and provided excellent service.
David was the absolute best waiter we’ve ever experienced.

Dining at Salt is an experience not just a dinner. Unusual pairings of foods that are unexpected but wonderful. Plan on tasting with an open mind and you will not be disappointed.

We visit the resort 4-5 times a year and Salt is always on our “must visit” agenda! The service, food and ambiance is top notch. Never disappointed and we highly recommend!
The meal was delicious, however, service was slow and portions were just a little too small for this price point and level of dining experience.
Once again salt does not disappoint. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.
The experience was superb from seating overlooking the ocean to service (Grace and Olga were knowledgeable and attentive) to the food to the background guitar music. We give it 10 out of 5 stars

Our server was named Jeff and he was so good. Food was out of this world as we did the chefs tasting with wine pairings. We left there on cloud 9

Had a great meal, once again. David was our server for the third visit in a row. We were happy with that, he’s great. The food was excellent as always, the highlight was a confit salmon which was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The only negative is if you are trying to be socially distant the tables are not far enough apart. I was around 4’ away from two other diners.
Our first dining experience at Salt did not disappoint. The service was great, the location beautiful and the food fantastic. The beef tenderloin was truly the best we’ve had. We will definitely visit again.

Amazing food , the chef special with the steak cooked on the aged Himalayan salt block was delicious. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful setting and ambience, our server was great. Both of our rib eyes were tough and grisly, for 69.00. Our friends had the fish and it was good. But we spent a lot of money for pretty average food. This was our second visit and we won't go back.

My husband & I dined here for our 10 year anniversary. From the service to the food, everything was amazing!
First, we arrived a little early, but they were able to seat us right away. They had a pre-printed page in our menu wishing us a happy anniversary, with our name in it. They even brought out a special dessert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate at the end of our meal.
The servers were very attentive, kind, & so helpful during our whole experience.
The food was delicious. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was huge. I hade the tenderloin , which was so tender. For our sides, we had the grits, mashed potatoes, & they even made us macaroni and cheese even though it wasn’t even on the menu. For dessert, we ordered the candy soufflé which was amazing. The anniversary dessert they also brought out included yummy truffle chocolates & macaroons (I believe they were raspberry).
The ambiance was so romantic. It was quiet, with the beautiful sounds of a guitarist that they had playing there for the evening.
It really was such an amazing experience, and can’t wait to return!
Absolutely fabulous. Everything was perfect from when we arrived throughout the entire evening. Amazing staff from hostess to servers to chefs. Everything is above and beyond great. Food is so creative and delicious. LOVE IT!
We enjoyed our dinner at Salt. Attentive service by server Matt and Mgr. Robert and the rest of the wait staff. Enjoyed the personalization they gave to our visit for our Anniversary. We will return.
Ate at Salt tonight. By way of background, we are from Texas and ate there 4 years ago while staying at the Ritz, and it was incredible. Tonight, not so much. First, though I made reservations weeks ago, we were seated at at table in the bar area right buy the stairs (the manager tried to sell this as a “special” table, which I’ve heard before...). Salad course was good. Steaks were awful — wife ordered medium plus, and received hockey pucks. I ordered medium, and received over medium well. If you are going to brand yourself as a steakhouse and can’t cook steaks, give it up. Also, since we wee seated at a table that, literally, every person passed by, I asked the manager to enforce the mask requirement. He did, but he (Robert) was very irritated about me asking. They did comp most of the meal (which I asked then NOT to do), but this is unacceptable.
The website said they are reducing tables — they are not.
Until they can teach the line cooks how to cook steaks, I’d avoid
