Fantastic place for excellent food the senses! From strawberry gazpacho to a trio of dessert souffles (too much goodness to name in-between) every bite was an experience! A foodie's paradise! Our server, Patty was empecable and attentive to every detail! So was Jonas and every other server that stopped by our table! The sampling of salts from around the world was a treat! Can't wait to go back again!! Bravo Salt!!

Drink service was very slow. Same with bread service. However, our waitperson was very attentive and competent. Very noisy due to 4 small children at 4 scattered tables. Meal was good, but not memorable. Mashed potatoes were tasteless. Lamb was about 1/3 fat and grizzle. Very expensive for less than a great meal and spotty service.

The smoked prawns (yes, we ordered them two nights in a row) are excellent, as well as the halibut. The paparelle pasta is the best dish we tried, though.

For $45 an entree - the halibut fish should not have been tepid or dry. And it was

We celebrated our anniversary there and absolutely loved it. This will not be the last time we dine here. Everything from the service, to the drinks, to the food was top notch. Would highly recommend for a romantic celebration

A creative menu but one that will suit all tastes. Fabulous service, attentive but not overly so. Would/could go back several times to try different items on the menu. Not inexpensive, but worth the investment.

Three couples were celebrating! My husband was having a birthday, friend’s 39th anniversary, and another friend recently purchased a home on Amelia Island. From the moment we arrived, we felt special. The table had an incredible view of the ocean and as we sat looking out, complimentary champagne arrived. The lamb was moist and delicious. The seafood pasta had just the perfect spice and the halibut was cooked magnificently. Robert was attentive and took us on a kitchen tour at the end of our meal. Thank you for a dazzling dining experience!

Exceptional service, food and ambience and a pleasing wine list made for an outstanding fine dining experience. The Chef’s feature - beef tenderloin served on an ancient Himalayan salt block, along side a trio of skillet quail eggs, was excellent, as was the beef tenderloin with lobster, and the Mini Soufflé Trio finale. A very enjoyable & memorable dinner experience.

We’d been reading/hearing rave reviews of Salt for the past several years, and finally made the trip to the fabled Ritz-Carlton to enjoy the experience for ourselves! It began with a telephone conversation with exquisite General Manager Robert Ardinger, who took considerable time to walk me through each menu item as though he was tableside! My enthusiasm mounted with each passing description; his kind gesture helped immensely with our ordering process the day of arrival! Upon being greeted warmly, Robert further went the extra mile by taking us aside onto the lush greenery of the Ritz common area to celebrate our special occasion with a sabered bottle of champagne, to the delight of our guests! Our beautiful 6-top had immaculate views of the ocean as we were serenaded by multi-talented musician and guitar virtuoso Taylor Roberts. Our server Scott was on point, displaying a deep knowledge of the menu, assisting with selections and ensuring impeccable course timing. Chef Richard Laughlin and his team took us on a journey through his carefully curated menu, of which included an incredible interpretation of foie gras, “steak and eggs” on a 250 million year old Himalayan salt block (interactive where you finish your own cooking on the block!), and much, much more! Though our first visit, we were treated like honored guests from entrance to exit, creating a highly memorable experience that will be difficult for any other establishment to rival. To our new friends Robert and Scott along with their outstanding team, we offer our sincere thanks. Highest recommendation; we hope to dine with them again in the nearest future! Bravo!!!!

One of the finest restaurants in Florida and possible the Southeast. The food is exceptional and outstanding. The service beyond expectation...5 different staff to our table. I have dined in restaurants all over the world. I have never received service like I experienced at Salt.

I was staying at the hotel and walked by to ask about making a reservation. Robert enthusiastically walked me through the restaurant to show me seating options. He genuinely seemed to care that I had a good experience since it was my first time at this restaurant.

For dinner, my server Shanna was above and beyond amazing. I off-handedly mentioned that I had a small headache and was trying to push through. She had the kitchen make a hot ginger tea for me - not from a packet, but from real ginger. Later that night, she sent me back to my room with more ginger (to go) and a napkin she had wrapped in ice cubes to put on my head. All of this from one throw away comment. The reason why this is worth mentioning - you can pay for good service, but that kind of caring comes from a a different place. Shanna was delightful to talk to, made great suggestions about pairing different salts with different dishes, and checked in appropriately.

The live guitar player was awesome!

My dishes were well flavored, beautifully presented, and delicious. The butternut squash soup was presented in a way I have never had before - using aromatics to enhance the experience. Even the salad looked like a piece of art and every bite tasted so good. I enjoyed every course.

The food was outstanding. The service exceptional. I highly recommend Salt and will definitely go back again.
