Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Been going to Saloon since 1980 and never had a bad meal still my favorite place to dine Gabriele was amazing server
It was my birthday and it was wonderful.
Not a great value for the money. Overpriced $150 for 2 drinks 1 per person. Split salads 2 main courses. No coffee no dessert. Would not recommend
The team works wonderfully together to give a great guest experience. The food is delicious, the wine list extensive. Will definitely be back and have already recommended the Saloon to friends.
Always incredible food drinks and service completely amazing dinners every time we celebrate a special occasion at the Saloon. Thanks for always making our dinners memorable
It's always a great experience. Good food, good wine and friendly service.
Great food. Great service. Have never had a bad meal at The Saloon. It's a bit pricey, but the food is excellent.
Always great for the special occasion... anniversary or birthday
The Saloon never disappoints. It is managed and run with all of its staff committed to it's excellence. They use only the finest ingredients and take no shortcuts. I highly recommend anyone interested in going out to lunch or dinner that wants an outstanding dining experience to try the Saloon. Philadelphia's finest Italian restaurant.
My family was there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We all enjoyed the food , the service and the staff.
This place is consistently one of the best restaurants in Philly
First time back at the Saloon since we moved away. Nothing has really changed. Sat at the bar for a cocktail before dinner. Bartender was terrific. Had a smile on his face the whole time we were there, and made a point to small talk with not just the locals, but out-of-towners like us. Great time.
Our server Alyssa was beyond awesome. She made our dining experience one to remember. Charming and helpful with some advise: attentive but yet not intruding. Big smile.
Overall experience was beyond fantastic. Highly recommend this stop.
Great meal. Everything was wonderful - the ambience, the service, the food. Thank you!
Great food and service in an old Philly setting. We had a most attentive server who offered an extraordinary list of specials. The old wood panelling could have come from England. Very unique spot with excellent food and service. We had the large filet, crabmeat over angel hair and great french martinis. Lots of fun in a unique setting!
Food was very good, except I had a lot of bone and fat in my veal chop. Also, we had a after dinner drink at the bar and it tasted very watered down. We did enjoy the vibe of the place and the atmosphere, service as well
I have never had a bad time or a bad meal here!! Love their food, and they have amazing specials!!
Also make a great Old Fashioned!!
Excellent food. Wide variety. Terrific service. Sooo much food! An old stand-by but as good or better than ever.
We found long hair in two dishes. Restaurant handled it well but certainly will not go back.
Great service, and food. Definitely going back.
Food is awesome and sooooo delicious. Highest quality and well prepared. So many options and specials it’s hard to decide. Our table had delicious mushroom risotto and burrata apps. Bone in veal chop snd the most delicious double Bronzino filets done with egg wash delicate coating and white wine. Dessert tray to die for. With four cocktails four glasses of wine and two desserts cane to about two hundred per couple so not cheap. Beautiful wood panel restaurant that has been in business for many decades. Two bars. Nice for special occasion. Old school traditional fine dining.
I have never had a bad meal at the Saloon. Best place in town
We are regulars. We had a very noisy group in our room and the room was cold. We dine early because the noise and migraines don‘t mix well.
The food is so good and the service is excellent and so we make this one of our ‘go to’ Philadelphia restaurants.
Excellent food, ambiance is nice and enjoyable. Fun place
Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in. My husband and I have been here quite a few times and it is always consistent. This time we brought some out of town family and their comment was “if we lived here in Philly, we would eat here every night”. We started with the baratta and the clams. Both excellent. 3 of them ordered the veal park on the bone pounded thin, they loved it. I had the bronzini francaise with lump crab meat, excellent! All 3 desserts we ordered were also excellent but the chocolate chip cheesecake melted in your mouth. Highly recommend and look forward to the next time we go back
Overall Excellent . Food amazing . Service very friendly and attentive . Room has awesome vintage feel . A bit pricy but worth it ! Only thing that was a bit odd was that they reservation asks if it is a special occasion , and I answered 'Aniversary' . Upon being seated we were pleasantly greeted as such "So I understand its your Anniversary' and that was it , no follow up . It is the first time in 38 years of dining that I ever had a restaurant make note of an special occasion and not offer a glass of wine or something (and I don't drink so I would have politely declined , and it would have cost them nothing ) . I truly think it was an oversight ! Still 5-Star ! And will return soon ! Highly Recommend !
Best eggplant parm ever, a must visit for all occasions, great place before a game or show at Wells Fargo
Great service and unbelievable food! This is still one of the best restaurants in Philly
I took out of town guests here for dinner on a Friday night. Everything was perfect. Our guests were duly impressed by the food, ambiance, and service. The only suggestion I have is that the restaurant print a menu with the daily specials. The server in our area of the restaurant had a booming voice and we had to listen to her repeat the specials several times during the course of our dinner to the surrounding tables. It was rather amusing to the point that we had the specials memorized by the end of our meal. But, all in all, the restaurant is a real winner.
Our waitresses were very nice we were sat upstairs the waiters were obnoxious and cursing the entire time we were up there! I get it downstairs is loud but upstairs was extremely quiet at this time!! I’m the furthest from a complainer or to get upset @ cursing but they were extremely unprofessional!!
Restaurant had been recommended by an acquaintance. Had six in attendance - great atmosphere- excellent service by Sarah and outstanding food.
Great time for the 5 of us before seeing the play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The appetizers and soup were so delicious. Everyone’s entree was amazing and the wait staff were very attentive. The entire meal was good even the bread and desserts. Always recommend this gem!
We had a fabulous meal; the ambiance was terrific, and the service was outstanding.
Gorgeous restaurant. Beautiful people working there. Fun. classy, vibrant atmosphere. Phenomenal authentic high-end Italian fare. If you have never been to saloon you are definitely missing out on a quintessential Philadelphia landmark. Worth the wait. Worth the money. Go.
1st floor is very loud! We were seated on 2nd floor, thankfully. Food, drinks and service outstanding.
Very nice evening with the family. Ordered many appetizers, meals, wine and cocktails. Service was great, food was very good, ambiance was comfortable.
The food was amazing at Saloon. We had the Radicchio appetizer and Veal Parm meal. Both were so delicious. Also loved the old style atmosphere. Highly recommend.
The atmosphere is great. Nice vintage decor makes it warm and charming. The host was a seasoned gentleman who was very kind.
Everything was awesome!!! Complimentary desert for our anniversary was a nice touch thank you!
I haven't been here in years and I don't know why! It's easily one of the best meals I've had in the city in a long time. All of my out of town friends loved it too. The homemade ravioli were hands down the best I've ever had, including my own. Great wine, great food, great atmosphere!
We always have a wonderful dining experience here. The service is impeccable and the food is so delicious. The lobster francaise is my favorite! Can’t wait for our next visit.
