It was very busy/crowded for lunch on Valentine's day, so it was a good thing we made Open Table reservations! The stressed hostess tried to sit us way in the back near the restrooms -
which you can definitely smell - yuck, so we requested the very next table available in the front section of the restaurant which only took 2 minutes. Buffet had a good assortment, constantly refreshed, tasty, There were many chicken dishes, only one lamb dish, and plenty of veggie dishes to choose from. Even though extremely busy, we had good cheerful service at the table.
Horrible, Horrible drinks They should fire the bartender !
Unfortunately this restaurant looks great and is massive in size, however the quality of the Indian food for me is just average. I have had much better at lower cost.
Excellent choice for pre-theater dinner. Attentive service. Everything was very flavorful and delicious.
Food quality went down. May be they have new chef. No taste at all.
I love this place. I love the lunch buffets so you can eat as much of anything that you want and try everything. One side is vegetarian and the other side is meat and it's all very very good..
Even though options are less, quality of food is good. I like the ambience very much. Food is not much spicy unlike other Indian restaurants.
Wonderful drinks, and the waiter brought out a little extra something when the food was taking a while to get ready.
Good food and variety of choices. Noise level is high, space is little congested.
Predictable each time. Which is good. Sakoon is one of the few Indian restaurants in the Bay Area that offer a decent dine in experience.
The menu has great variety, and the preparations while simple, taste good - guess that's what matters most. The service is attentive, and food arrives reasonably quick.
Tried the chicken, the lamb, and breads, and all were done well.
