Saint Rocco's at Trinity Groves
The service was outstanding and food was delicious. Definitely recommend this place.
I had read several mixed reviews about the service but we had great service and the food came out really quickly! It was delicious as well! Definitely will be back!
Attentive service and a fantastic pasta dinner. The bread is the best I’ve had.
This was the most amazing food I have ever eaten.
Service was above and beyond.
My daughters new favorite place.
This is a musts try.
We went for my daughter’s birthday. The truffle fries are amazing! The Caesar salad is delicious! If you want to split it, get the large. The small is side salad size. Everyone enjoyed their meal! The lobster ravioli is fabulous! We picked the brownie dessert for the birthday girl and we didn’t really like it. The upstairs bar is a great place to go take pics of the Dallas skyline! Been craving the Caesar salad since Saturday night! Lol
Husband’s birthday. Would have liked some special recognition of that ..song, dessert etc.
Food was good but a little greasy, service is really nice!
I've been to Saint Roccos about 8 times. This time, the food was not as good as it used to be. Service was interesting. My party went to the bathroom immediately upon arrival and they refused to seat us because of our incomplete party. There were only 3 other occupied tables in the entire restaurant. I was carded 3 times for my drink. I'm 36 years old. It was cute the first time, not the 2nd or the 3rd. Again, food was okay - nothing to write home about. Service was lackadaisical. Shame - cute place.
Great food and great service. Will definitely go back next time we visit Dallas.
It was great, as usual. Good atmosphere, great food and service. One of my favorite places in Dallas.
1st time here for daughters birthday. Everything was great! Food excellent as well as service. Will dine here again!!!
I had a GREAT experience here. The staff was amazing and I even got a free dessert for my birthday!! My waitress was so nice and sweet. I will definitely return
Everything was great except for the temperature. It was FREEZING. Not just to me, but our whole table thought it much too cold. We asked to change tables, and found a table that was better, but still too cold. We asked our server, she agreed it was too cold, said they had already asked to warm it up, but she would ask again. It got better as the night went on, and I appreciate that.
Very pedestrian food...Mass-Market quality...Unappealing plating...
Ate at Bar, where staff was excellent. Made the night enjoyable. Disappointing otherwise.
Went on a Sunday evening for dinner. The restaurant is missing a great opportunity for diners to have a wonderful downtown view by covering the windows with awnings. The decor is nice but unorginal. The red, black, and white color scheme, tomato sauce tins decorating the walls, and black and white photos of random people are all predictable. The food is pricey for the quality. Sorry, but $18.39 for mediocre spaghetti and meatballs is not worth it. The tomato sauce served with the bread is bland. The other dinners we ordered were good, but again the prices are a little high for the quality. The service at the end was slow. We had to ask another waiter to run our credit card because our waiter never returned to our table.
The food was fantastic. I love their sauce and their pasta is great. However, on my last trip I was a little disappointed with the service. I had used open table to make my reservation and I had placed in the comment section that my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived neither did the hostess or our waitress acknowledge that we were celebrating our anniversary. It is not the end of the world; however, it is nice when the staff picks up on these little details that really make your night special. We will still go back to Saint Rocco's because we the love the food.
Beautiful environment, excellent food and service definitely recommend to friends and family
We did the rooftop wine tasting event and that was good. We had dinner reservations afterward so we went back downstairs to the dining area. Ambiance there was much more like a diner not a white table linen restaurant. We still had good food and a good time but waiter reminded us that they closed at 9, and it was already 10pm.
I expected more after having read the reviews. It's fine but it's not extraordinary
I have eaten Italian food in New York, Italy, here in Texas...name it. The food at Saint Rocco's is mediocre, at best, but on the pricey side. I had the Caesar salad to start, along with the bread and rather strange red dipping sauce. For my entree, I had the linguini with clams...a bit too salty and just "meh." I had a canoli for dessert...tasted stale. Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, our waiter kept rushing us (and, interrupting us). When we had finished dessert, he asked if he could bring the check, rather than asking if we would like coffee or another drink. Needless to say, we decided to pay and leave. I won't return and I don't recommend it. There are far better places for "authentic Italian food." P.S. The restaurant itself is cute.
Great service and meal.
Food was good. Service not so much. Our waiter was very slow, hard to understand and really messed up the bill. Instead of just splitting it evenly between 3 credit cards. He got it right on 2 of the cc’s and doubled the 3rd one. Also, they automatically added the 20% tip in the bill. We were a party of 6, so just watch that you don’t double tip.
The food was amazing!! The best Alfredo I've ever had. And the tomatoe basil soup was heavenly.
The food is always excellent. We generally eat the lobster ravioli, it's our favorite
I've waited quite a while to eat at Saint Rocco's only to leave disappointed. First thought as in walked in was "Wow"! Loved the look and couldn't wait to eat.
As much as I wanted to like this restaurant, it's simply average. That is mainly due to disappointing service. I expected to be impressed and subpar service was provided at best.
The food was delicious but the lack of experience simply took away from me ever wanting to come back.
To start, I ordered a Pelegrino. It arrived with the bottle cap on and no glass. I had to ask a near by waiter if he could help and he did.
I ordered table side bruschetta as I expected this would be a nice tableside presentation. The prep was setup behind me minimizing the wow factor. When she prepared it, she spooned to much liquid onto the crostini making them soggy and to have liquid dripping off the sides.
We then ordered our meals, and one of the dishes that I specifically ordered with no protein showed up with chicken. Rather than wait, my daughter ended up eating around it. I mentioned it to our waitress and she said the menus are set and that's how that dish is made. The manager came over, apologized and made every attempt to correct the dish but we ended up leaving it to avoid a wait.
My waitress brought the check, I put the card in the folio. She ran by, swiped the folio and didn't notice my card flying across near the next table. When she came back, there was no courtesy, she just grabbed the card and left the table.
I loved the food and the ambiance but in my opinion, experience is everything and it simply killed my night.
It was my husband and I 23 wedding anniversary so we decide to eat at Saint Roscos. Everything was fine until after we ordered our food (entree) it took about 25 mins for our food to come out. We noticed everyone around us had their food and it seemed as our waitress had forgotten about us. It went down hill from there for us. My food was cold and our waitress never came back until she was ready for us to pay the check. I never got another refill for my drink. We ordered a desert to go and got out of there.
We had a great date night at Saint Rocco’s, the food was excellent and we loved the ambiance!
We have been several times and brought our friends for the first time and they loved it also!
By far our favorite Italian place in DFW. The people are great, and the food is superb.
We went there because some local recommended as the best place to eat with a view in Dallas! Sadly the part where you were suppose to see the view was closed and inside the windows were covered; so much for a view! The waiter was in a big hurry even if the place wasn’t that busy!!
We enjoyed our experience at Saint Rocco's, but probably won't come back. The food was good, but for the price I expected a lot more. The food was comparable to a good day at Olive Garden, but more expensive. The ambiance was ok, but nothing super special.
Our food came out quick even though there was not an empty table in sight. The waiter was attentive he came by several times. We had a great experience.
This was my second visit to Saint Rocco's. The first visit was extraordinary. The circumstances were different as it was a quiet evening. Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere were perfect. My second visit was on a very busy Saturday eveing. It was very loud, the service was hectic as the waiter kept bumping in to my table, and the quality of the food was less than expected. I had the braised pork on a bed of polenta. The first time I had it it was extraordinary...a meal for the ages. On this second vist it was mediocre at best. The polenta was lumpy and uneven, not smoth and creamy as the first time. The pork was rather dry and tough, not moist and succulent as the first time. The au jus was rather vapid and not rich and brothy as the first time. It was a disappointing experience.
Food was very good. Service was good, not great. We felt slightly over priced. We would recommend.
Definitely enjoyed the experience. We went for a birthday celebration. The thing I would suggest is if host staff could give better instructions on how we will know when our table is ready. I also wished the upstairs patio was opened to the public again. We were told that it's no longer available just to take pictures but for events only.
St Rocco's is like going home to a gr
I had a late reservation on Valentine’s Day so it was understandable that they’d be a bit busier than usual. Had a few hiccups that management took care of pretty quickly which I was grateful for. Overall pleasureable experience. Would return.
I brought my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day. The service was VERY fast (not in a rushing way, but anytime we requested something, our waiter had it right away). They started us out with free zucchini chips and bread with a red sauce for dipping. Our cocktails were both delicious. For the entree, I had the spicy shrimp linguine which was just spot on. Like wow. It was very spicy though so some might not enjoy it. But I really enjoyed it. My girlfriend got the crab risotto. Our plates were both practically licked clean lol. We went to the rooftop porch for dessert, drinks, and a skyline view. Overall a very satisfying experience. We will be back very soon
