   This was the worst meal & service we have had in a long time. We ordered the BBQ platter. The chicken was tough and tasted like it had been microwaved to heat it up (same with the ribs - that were stuck to the bone. We also ordered 2 Sunset drinks - their specialty cocktail. One came bright pink colored the other barely pink. The server was barely there and acted like it was an imposition to serve us. The salad I ordered came with the choice of Blue Cheese or Pesto. When the "pesto" came it was a gelatinous glob. When you drive into this restaurant, there is a 4 ft. diameter pot hole to get to the gravel parking area. The stone steps to get inside were full of gravel. The road and adjacent properties are mobile homes and shacks. This is definitely NOT the elegant dining place they advertise.

   Recommended by a friend. Husband had shrimp and grits small plate. Was plenty for a meal. And I had chicken pot pie. Which was very good. We sat in the dining room. But the lounge area seemed very nice and cozy and had music starting at 6:30 pm area Woukd definetly go again.

   The food was delicious. The service was wonderful—all the staff members. Thank you for not rushing us and asking us to leave. We had a leisurely and relaxing dinner. We also thank you for not charging a fee to use our credit card to pay our bill.

   We were expecting a quiet dinner for two, but the noise level made it hard to converse. It is usually a much more relaxed atmosphere. But sometimes people are less than courteous. The food and service were excellent.

    Sabroso fits the bill for friendly service, excellent margaritas, delicious entrees and ambience! My wife and I were seated in the cozy bar with Jimmy Statler on the piano (as well as guitar and mandolin). We ordered the steak fritte and wild king salmon entrees, both of which were prepared perfectly and delicious. Between the Irish coffee, chocolate pots de creme and unique entertainment, Sabroso ranks as one of our favorites. Kudos to team Sabroso!

    The margarita are really top notch but not cheap. The French onion soup was perfect. The iceberg wedge lettuce salad was so good we were sad we had chosen to split it. The crab cakes were fantastic. The BBQ combo was great. The ribs were the best of the four meats. Mac and cheese did not have enough green chili. The andoule sausage and the Mac and cheese were the only mediocre parts of the meal. The staff was friendly and efficient. Wine was very good value. We were seated next to a very loud threesome even though there were many open tables. They were very annoying with continuous very loud talk. Their conversation overwhelmed our intimate date experience.I wish they had seated us farther away. there were plenty of empty tables. I did not understand why they seated everyone so close together. That was our only negative aspect of the dining experience. Otherwise we had a lovely time.

    Ambiance wasn’t great. Lighting is designed to show wall art for sale and not diners. Too bright and in our eyes. Food portions ginormous. Would have preferred smaller portions and lower prices. Seared tuna special not good; not melt in your mouth tuna and too heavy combination with sauce and couscous. BBQ combo good but much too large.

    Hard to find off highway. No lights on their sign outside. Drove down one dirt road looking for them. food was good. Not great. Service was marginal. Server looked like he just go out of bed. He could have shaved and been more interested in the people he was serving.

    Our second visit in a week and food was even better than the first time. We had the king salmon and halibut specials and it was the best fish we've eaten since we moved down from Alaska. We ate inside where it's quiet. The patio is lovely and the musicians are excellent but the music level out there is too loud for comfortable conversation. The rosemary bread keeps coming, has great flavor and texture, and portions are large. We all enjoyed the beet salad as a starter and our friend said the filet was the best he'd had in years. Nice drinks, good wine selection, fair prices, we'll be back again soon.

    We sat on the patio and servers seemed overwhelmed. We waited at least 15 minutes before anyone took our drink order. Everyone around us appeared to wait a good amount of time for their dinners. I feel specials were over priced compared to majority of the menu. Shame on me for not asking the prices -$38 for the salmon. I also ordered a gin and tonic -not the specialty gin cocktail and was charged $14.25 which is exorbitant for a single. My husband asked what beers were on draft and the server could only say an IPA - didn’t know name or type. Unfortunately we’re not likely to go here again.

    Comfortable and relaxing space, not noisy or rushed. Nice variety of menu items, something for everyone. Portions are generous, prices appropriate, staff is skilled and knowledgeable. Their bison short rib special with chile was delicious. We plan to return soon.

    We were given a great table with candle light (we were the only table with candle light: Open Table extra?). Our server was gracious. The food was delicious. Will definitely go again and save room for dessert this time.

    A lovely evening on the patio with delicious meals (the salmon and the bbq chicken) with an excellent zin. Friendly and just right service on all fronts topped off by a wonderful musician singing French songs - Charlie Bensusen. We had no problem getting the perfect table right away after making a reservation.

    Flat iron steak cooked and prepared nicely. Juicy and flavorful. Menu selection rather small and trends towards carnivores. Fritas were tasty. Service disappointing. No personality in the waiter and inattentive. He looked like he rolled out of bed. Lack of any professionalism. Music was nice but too loud .

    Always enjoy Sabroso. Love the ambiance of the patio and enjoy the food and entertainment. A go to place for us. However our waitress was so disengaged that we were served a meal that was not at all what we expected.She described the specials and obviously did not do so with clarity. Not a happy camper that night. Acted as if serving us was an imposition. Still like Sabroso but hopefully next experience will not include this waitress.
