Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, decorated with carvings, and statues imported from India. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.
Come enjoy a casual meal with friends or a celebration with your loved ones. Either way, you'll be taken care of by our knowledgeable and friendly team. We take pride in what we serve and how we serve it - Good Food and Great Service. We also offer takeout, delivery, catering and in Jul 2023 we have added Mow, Mehfil on Wheels, a food truck serving Mehfil food. Mow is a regular at the local breweries and can even come in to your neighborhood. Our signature dishes include the lamb chops, goat curry, deluxe mixed grill-an assortment of lamb and chicken seekh kebab, tandoori shrimp and lamb chops. No one does the tandoor as good us and our awards are testimony to that.

Stable Café is open from 11am to 3pm daily for guests of Biltmore Estate. Limited reservations are accepted before noon and after 2pm, based on availability. All others will be served on a first come-first served basis.

Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. Dinner menu is a three-course, prefix menu.

The convenient location next to Biltmore House, friendly hospitality, and delectable food make the Stable Café a popular stop after visits to the house and gardens. The ambiance of the historic surroundings in the renovated stable complex is unmatched. Enjoy lunch specials like the Stable Café BBQ with 16-hour smoked Appalachian style pulled pork and local roasted chicken! Sitting on Veranda is best part of eating here! View is magnificent so are drinks! Catfish was great. Wish they had more salad and carb free choices though. Due for a fresh menu.

We had a wonderful experience, beginning with the ample and free parking, the quiet, clean, and open restaurant, and continuing with very attentive servers. The food quality was superb, and fresh ingredients across the board. Even the vegetarian in our group found plenty to satisfy!
