Dinner at the restaurant begins at 4:30pm.
We bring the Appalachian heritage from the outdoors in while dining in front of the stunning 525 million year old mountains. Inside, outside, or bar room dining, you will have a gorgeous view of Lake Lure and the Appalachian mountains. Boats Slips are first come, first serve. Due to the small volume of tables, we cannot accept preferred table/view requests.
Dress Code: No swimwear or coverups, must have shoes.

Best steak we have ever had! Loved the potatoes with duck fat. Our she crab soup appetizer was very flavorful and satisfying. One suggestion would be to include the small bread loaf complimentary rather than charge $9 for it.

The food was delicious, staff was very friendly and accommodating, recommendations were on point, the view is stunning at sunset. We took the formal dress attire to the max and came dressed to impress!! Bring back the fur coats!! but the other diners did not. Which was quite a let down. Highly recommend if you enjoy fine dining and don’t mind the price tag.

The food was so delicious! We had tender lamb and a fish curry that was really yummy. Okra was fantastic. The service was really good and the food came out quickly. Overall excellent. We definitely will go back and recommend Mela.
