We came to the Alcove tonight to celebrate our 43rd Anniversary. Our whole experience from start to finish was subperb, and out waitress, Lindsey, was exceptional! Thank you for making out evening extra special!

We had the whipped goat cheese with crostinis and the shrimp and short ribs on cheddar grits both were outstanding. My wife loved the fried chicken sliders and really liked them, my daughter the burger and she mentioned several times she not a big fan of burgers but she really liked it. I got the hanger steak with the truffle Parmesan fries in place of the whipped potatoes. The fries were outstanding and the Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection.

The Wine Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants. The service is always exceptional, and the wine selection is unmatched. We ordered salads, which were tasty, a cheese board, also good. The meatball appetizer was the only thing that was disappointing. It used to be three meatballs in a wonderful tomato sauce. Now it is one meatball with a smoky flavor that almost tastes burned. Service was really good
