Originally from New York, Owner Big John brought his love of Italian food to our little island. He then married it to his love of tropical birds and established the restaurant in 1989. The huge portions and creative cuisine quickly made New York Pasta Garden a local favorite, and we continue that tradition to this day.

Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, the Morada Bay Keys Beach Café & Bar lays amidst a beautiful palm-lined beach, overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers. You’ll find inside and outside bars and dining areas, live unique entertainment, spectacular sunsets and a large child-friendly beach with cozy Adirondack chairs.

The Café is conceived to evoke the feel of a beach café where the Hawaiian and Californian surfers and sailboarders would relax after a day on the water. As such, its walls are adorned with surfboards, longboards, sail and kite boards, as well as many original 60’s surf posters.

The Café’s menu showcases the freshest in local seafood and produce, the fare is both innovative and eclectic. The Café’s bar and wine offerings are equally noteworthy. The Café is open for dining seven days a week from 11 AM to 10 PM.

The table seating is spread out along the sandy waterfront. Wait staff highly trained and happy. This place is much more polished then some other establishments nearby. Highly recommend for sunset viewing and good menu options.

Reservations are key! We skipped the hour wait since I made a reservation! Great location, great view! The food was fine. Nothing great, nothing bad. Didn’t really go there for the food tho. The service was sub par, but I would go there again.

Really nothing special, somewhat limited menu. Service was ok, might not return as there are better options in Key West. Gift shop was adjacent and actually better than the restaurant.
