Welcome to BEHIND. We are an intimate 1 Michelin star fish-focused tasting menu restaurant run by chef Andy Beynon. Situated on the edge of London Fields, Hackney, BEHIND has 18 kitchen-table seats for lunch and dinner sittings, as well as a relaxed wine bar.

BEHIND is Andy Beynon’s first restaurant, opened in October 2020. After just 20 days’ trading it was awarded its first Michelin Star. Andy spent 15 years working in some of the best Michelin star restaurants in the country, including with chefs Claude Bosi, Phil Howard and Michael Wignall.

The Water House Project is open for dinner Wednesday - Saturday 7pm and lunch on Saturday & Sunday at 1pm.

Founded by Chef Gabriel Waterhouse and Patricia Wakaimba, each service comprises exclusively of a single tasting menu with guests served at the same time. For this reason we require all guests to arrive on time. Our doors are open 15 minutes before if you wish to arrive early.

If you have any dietary requirements these must be noted during the booking process or emailed to us 48 hours before hand. Love Shack is an incredible patch of Vegan paradise situated in the heart of East London between Cambridge Heath & Bethnal Green

Comprising three large and entirely unique railway arches and a beautiful decked garden complete with hammocks and it's very own Love hut, we are a restaurant, cocktail bar and events space with an emphasis on creating the kind of good vibes that will make you feel instantly welcome.

Our menu is comprised predominantly of small sharing plates, (mostly so we can show off how good a plethora of vegan food can be) along side some incredible mains and a host of craft beers and outstanding cocktails

We often host comedy nights, gigs, open mic sessions and pretty wild parties

Incredible food and great service…can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this restaurant before (was recommended by a friend) and not sure why there are empty tables on a Friday night. Everything tasted amazing and we had several dishes including the array of oysters available.

Great food and very good service, the Team was super friendly and helpful. They made us feel home and look after our allergens making sure everything was delivered on time before the beautiful show started. Cocktails are also very very good! We will go back for sure!
