Jang – the name stemming from the Korean word for sauce – is where the flavours of Seoul meet the spirit of Kyoto, all within a Grade I Listed London landmark.

Taking flavours from her hometown of Gwangju as well as impressions from Seoul, Kyoto and beyond, head chef Dana Choi has created a menu that champions techniques from both countries, using the best of British produce.

Set right in the heart of the City, Jang is open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday. This is an intimate and sumptuous space with nods to Asian heritage throughout and is just as well suited for a corporate catch-up or a business dinner as a long lunch or a date night.

Yauatcha City opened in May 2015 in Broadgate Circle, just outside Liverpool Street Station. This is Yauatcha’s second UK location following the success of its award winning restaurant in Soho.

Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. Enjoyed our evening sitting outside, service friendly and efficient. Had the mussels and soup to start, then both had the fish & chips. for mains. Nice crispy batter and tasty fish inside, served with lovely mushy peas and tartar sauce. Chips a little cold but didn't want to eat many of these anyway. Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Have been before & would return.

Went for a dinner on Saturday, the service was really efficient and friendly, the starters were okay but the mains were very good, especially the fish and chips, probably the lightest batter I’ve had. The only challenge was that we were the only people in the restaurant so the ambience was not there, saying that we did visit at 5pm Saturday, so that is not a great time after lunch and before dinner. I would recommend as restaurant for the area.
