Our head chef Paramjit Singh hails from Punjab, India where the tandoor method of cooking originated. Food is always delicious and service is great. Ana is a sweetheart. The cocktail menu is excellent! Brought my family who were visiting and we had a great time. The kids enjoyed the Christmas movies playing in the dining room.

All our food is prepared in 100% pure, cholesterol free, zero trans-fat vegetable oil. For your convenience, parking is validated after 6pm for the duration of an hour and a half in the Whole Food Garage.

The staff was very friendly and were accommodating since we were rushing to get to a show. They recognized our anniversary and gave a free dessert! We will definitely return as the food was also very good. Highly recommend!

Cityside Tavern has been a staple in Cleveland Circle since 1985. We underwent a renovation in January 2020, now our space is rustic and airy featuring beautiful brickwork and barn-board from Maine. Our bi-level space features two bars, a separate dining room and an awesome roof deck overlooking Cleveland Circle
Our dinner menu consists of elevated comfort food along hearty New England fare, killer burgers and sandwiches. We also feature a lunch menu during the weekdays and a weekend brunch program.
We feature a full bar with a draft beer program focusing on some of the best local Craft breweries as well a cocktail program with riffs on some classics, as well as our own unique creations.

Cityside Tavern is a casual restaurant spot in Boston’s Brighton neighborhood and a great place to dine with friends or that special someone. Plenty of television screens are scattered everywhere to catch live sports action, the ambiance has the young college crowd (being near Boston College), the music is moderate in volume and the menu has many excellent food options to choose from. The restaurant is divided into two floors – one downstairs section and one upstairs section – to allow for additional seating capacity. In the summer season, an outdoor seating patio on the second level gives patrons a great view of the traffic flow through Cleveland Circle. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an upscale dining experience in one of Boston’s bustling neighborhoods.
