Guests are welcomed from morning till night to a sunlit, rooftop restaurant with Art Deco references and mid-century modern detailing, offering sweeping views of Back Bay and the Boston Public Garden. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, from feasts of antipasti, carpaccios and pizzas, to pastas and large steaks. Contessa is a delight that you cannot refuse! I enjoyed an incredible Wednesday lunch on a beautiful early afternoon. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beyond exceptional — I even had the pleasure of meeting the florist for the establishment, of whom was as beautiful as her designs. I indulged in a quaint solo lunch, to celebrate the release of my first poetry book. Francisco took great care of me, from start to finish. The Seasonal Bellini was a refreshing treat, as I enjoyed the Daily Imported Burrata as my Antipasti. The presentation & taste was perfection. Next on the table was the Ricotta Gnudi di Pecora, which may I recommend. . . This was undoubtedly the BEST dish that I have ever experienced. There is significant passion and purpose poured into this dish — applause to the entire culinary team for this piece. Seriously. If you are fond of great company, thoughtful wine, and outstanding cuisine — Contessa is a must. Special appreciation for the team who made this visit extraordinary.

Bettini is an upscale, fine-dining restaurant with a coastal chic vibe, refined contemporary American cuisine, and a fabulous selection of wine. Expansive windows reveal a magnificent coastal view that reinforces the kitchen’s relationship with the local landscape, creating a seamless island-to-table dining experience. The elegant bar draws a vibrant crowd of locals and island guests.

Our restaurant is intended to be intimate and personal. Many of our tables can accommodate up to 4 people. The dining room seating configuration may not allow certain combinations of tables and split parties will potentially not be seated adjacent to each other.

Bettini does not accept reservations for Breakfast. All guests are welcome to walk in on a first come first served basis.

We first had drinks on the patio and looked at the Ocean. The view is beautiful. We had an 8:30 reservation and sat in the bar area at a high top. Shout out to our awesome waiter Alex! We had steak dish and a scallops dish and great wine! Highly recommend this restaurant- it’s a special place.

The Ships Inn Restaurant offers one of Nantucket's finest dining experiences. Located in an historic whaling captain\'s mansion built in 1831, the dining room and lounge are below street level and have an updated colonial atmosphere. This restaurant is a very good choice for an evening out with friends, and there are cozy, intimate alcoves for more romantic encounters. American/French cuisine is featured, with everything freshly prepared on the premises. Chef Mark Gottwald's food is bold and flavorful, and presented with understated elegance. Dinner menu selections include lobster, calamari, crab cakes, salmon, prawns, chicken, duck, beef, and lamb. Only the freshest ingredients are used. Members of our restaurant staff have been part of the Ships Inn family for an average of seven years or more. Friendliness, attentiveness, and food knowledge are the cornerstones of our operation.

The food here is always so delicious and the chef owner always comes out to ask how everything was and thanks us for coming in. I love the setting. Hard to believe this place isn’t packed, but it was nice to have a place to catch up with two friends and the warm breeze wafting through the open windows. LOVE this place!
