Food does not and cannot get better than this meal. From the moment you cross the threshold into the beautiful and inspirational courtyard you know you have found your dream of a space . The ambience , the food, the presentation, the attentive warm and welcoming service, this is a meal to remember and delight in every moment of it! I just love this restaurant. I love the vibe, low key and down home, and the food is fantastic. The cucumber salad and the Caesar salad make me so happy, perfect on a warm day like this was, and I always find the pizza delicious (squash blossoms for me) plus everyone who works there seems both hilarious and sweet. Good little wine list too. Always have a nice time, and always bring new friends there, whether I’m in the hood or as a casual destination.

Food is always good however I chose to get a table instead of sitting at the bar and service was very poor. Waited 18 min before a greet, a table that sat after us was greeted first, and a manager finally came over to greet us and take our order.

Best service I have had at any Gyu-Kaku in a while. Cander was incredible and offered great service. He was quick to bring everything and insured meat was coming in a timely manner, at times it would come to the table as soon as I placed the order. Definitely will be coming back soon.
