Ver y good food and good service. Only the cannolis could be better: more orange flavor and mor chocolate the pastry was good but very little favor.

Federico Rigoletti, chef alquimista y artífice esencial del proyecto que ha conquistado México se ha enfocado en su verdadera pasión que está detrás de los fogones y en la búsqueda constante de elementos que combinen con la mejor materia prima del mercado. Entiende la cocina como extensión de la naturaleza, apostando por platos donde el producto habla por sí sólo, o donde el paladar evoca recuerdos y traslada a lugares, de modo que el comer deja de ser el mero hecho de aportar nutrientes y se convierte en experiencia. Yoshimi, "good hearted person", respects the Japanese tradition incorporating elements of innovation pertaining to Hyatt Regency Mexico City. Located in the heart of Polanco, it offers an authentic Japanese culinary experience in a sophisticated architectural atmosphere of contemporary Japan.

The prevailing element is Japan’s native geometric pattern asa no ha, “hemp leaves” that represents prosperity and is displayed in its most simple form in Yoshimi spaces. You will find art pieces converging with Japanese ceramics and a linen sculpture by Agnieszka Kotecka, which stand for a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Moreover the new lighting concept adds a special touch of subtlety to Akira Kameta Miyamoto’s architectural design.

Lastly, Yoshimi’s atmosphere extends towards the Zen Garden, inviting to contemplate all the elements which make up the space and which are specially intended to promote inner peace.

Service was excellent, hostess was always caring for all our needs and for us feel comfortable Food is good although some dishes are over served and the sour sweet pineapple fish is too sweet. Once people began to arrive the plea turned too noisy.

But this project is not just about food, it also has its contribution of art and design since it was designed by the architect Alberto Kalach making this corner a must-stop for those who enjoy art, good food, and the characteristic lifestyle of Colonia Roma Norte.

The food was amazing and the service too. Since the begining I felt very welcomed and the service was good withoug being pushy. The food was very good and I would have loved to taste more things. I will definetly look to return.

It was good but the new menu isn’t the same, old menu has more options and felt more Mexican. Hope this change soon, I would like to come back soon.
