Excellent, the price-to-portion size and food quality ratio is very good. The kushiage are large, perfect for sharing. The variety of teppanyaki is adequate. The lighting in the place creates a cozy atmosphere. The service is good, with staff always attentive to keeping the table clean, and the food is served without delay. Valet parking is available.

About the restaurant
Come to discover Hour 43!

Restaurantes Carolo, named after a variation of the Italian form of “Carlos”, was the first company of the group, created in November, 2007. It represented an innovation for the creative needs of Carlos Gómez Senderos and his love for bakery. The first restaurant of the group-Carolo Bosques-was created for Carlos to have a place to work. And that’s when the story began. From that moment on, Grupo Carolo has opened several restaurants.

Good mix of Italian and Mexican dishes, decent wine menu (though more Italian choices would be welcome). Desserts are decent but miss a wow factor.

Japanese
Polanco/Nueva Anzures
About the restaurant
Yoshimi, "good hearted person", respects the Japanese tradition incorporating elements of innovation pertaining to Hyatt Regency Mexico City. Located in the heart of Polanco, it offers an authentic Japanese culinary experience in a sophisticated architectural atmosphere of contemporary Japan.

The prevailing element is Japan’s native geometric pattern asa no ha, “hemp leaves” that represents prosperity and is displayed in its most simple form in Yoshimi spaces. You will find art pieces converging with Japanese ceramics and a linen sculpture by Agnieszka Kotecka, which stand for a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Moreover the new lighting concept adds a special touch of subtlety to Akira Kameta Miyamoto’s architectural design.

Lastly, Yoshimi’s atmosphere extends towards the Zen Garden, inviting to contemplate all the elements which make up the space and which are specially intended to promote inner peace.
We hope your experience will be unique and memorable.

Contemporary Mexican
Polanco/Nueva Anzures
About the restaurant
Bandido is a space focused on wood-fired cooking, quality bread and coffee, and one of the personal tastes of its chef, Fabián Acuña, music.

This concept has a high-fidelity vinyl bar where the selection is sometimes curated by the chef himself and other times by guest selectors. These selectors are carefully selected by a booker dedicated to ensuring that the atmosphere is always right for all diners.

Returning to the food, Bandido offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. All of them come out of the wood that aromatizes and gives us a cozy feeling when we enter. Wood-fired chilaquiles with tatemada sauce and New York steak with sweet potato puree are some of the dishes that are designed to make your visit to our restaurant a unique experience.

Excellent food, note some dishes can be quite spicy, if you do not have a high threshold for spice ensure you are careful to avoid them. We love spice and so it was no issue. Very lovely cozy atmosphere. Limited seating. Also it is a very calm place so if you’re looking for high energy it might be too quiet. It was perfect for us!
