Grana is a contemporary Mexican cuisine restaurant located in a 16th century building of Mexico City downtown. This establishmnet, run by Chef Jorge Diez, offers an intimate culinary experience that stands out for reinterpreting traditional Mexican dishes with a focus on seasonal mexican products, especially vegetables and seafood.

We sat at the Chef’s table, so basically you get a seat at the kitchen’s island, very near the stove, so you can look at every detail, the chef and the staff walk you through every detail of the dish they are preparing like the story behind, the inspiration and the meaning for them, it was an amazing experience, everything was delicious, and taste even better when you understand the work behind it.

Service was amazing..food to die for! Must definitely try it. We took our todfler for dinner and he was surprised with candy when we were leaving. I loved it!

Restaurante TESTAL, especializado en Cocina Mexicana de Origen, abre sus puertas al público el 15 de mayo del 2015 para ofrecer lo más selecto y tradicional de la alta cocina mexicana y se erige, además, como una opción ideal para los más exigentes paladares. Su nombre proviene de la palabra náhuatl tixtlali o textlali que significa masa para poner. Así TESTAL es la evocación a las bolitas de maíz que le dan origen a la tortilla mexicana. We had a fantastic experience at Antolina! The food was top notch and the service impeccable. We had a lovely table inside and it was comfortable. Chips were served with three different types of salsa, all which were unique, tangy and delicious. We ordered the ceviche, which was hands down the best ceviche I've ever had. It was prepared with guava, passionfruit and mango, something I would never have anticipate, but it was unbelievably delicious. We also ordered the fried plantains which were served with mole and was another flavor burst! The roasted carrot salad was so delicious as well and the yogurt sauce added another dimension of tanginess and flavor. The cochinita pibil was flavorful and was served with the perfect amount of sauce. For dessert we had the buñelos with ice cream. They were a tad too sweet, but had a perfect crunch and flavor. We also ordered the tamale with poached strawberries, which we found to be bland. The only minor annoyance was an accordion player who was standing outside for about 10 minutes playing loudly. It conflicted with the music playing inside and we felt that the staff should have asked him to move on, but maybe it's a cultural thing. 100% would go back.
