Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience! Enjoy a barn patio table or one of our 7 intimate, private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views, and a beautiful 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accommodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to pork & lamb to grains.

Open Wed-Saturdays. Reservations are required. $165/per person++

Reservations are released 3 months in advance. We often have tables that are not available online, like a chef's table in the kitchen. Call us at 303-444-5500 if interested. Incredible farm to table experience with homegrown fruits and vegetables presented in a wonderfully creative fashion. Fabulous service with attention to detail. Chef Eric is a wealth of knowledge and very willing to share it. The setting is magnificent and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. You will genuinely feel that you are eating where your food is grown…how often does that happen? Highly recommend Black Cat for any occasion, but especially for special celebrations.

The restaurant was founded in 2023 by owner Stella Spanu, a Boulder local. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. The space, an Art Deco inspiration, was conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo.

Stella's is showcasing a world-class menu, highlighting traditions from all over Italy, with house-made pastas with imported ingredients directly from Italy, and locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms. The menu is accompanied by an extensive selection of Italian wines and specialty cocktails.

Friday and Saturday, after dinner service, the space will transform into a lounge with a dance floor with a state-of-the-art sound system, while guests are encouraged to enjoy beverages, the dance floor, and a wide variety of music.

Absolutely stunning modern sleek interior, the staff was 100% five star! The menu was absolutely stunning with creative choices that left us very satisfied! The chef is immensely talented and very personable as he made his way around the restaurant greeting the guests.

Great menu. Loved the tacos! The steak was tender and flavorful but needed larger portions for the price. The service was excellent! Patio dining was very nice.

A cornucopia of interesting flavors. Creative combinations and delightfully daring. We especially enjoyed the crispy cod : moist fish with finely shredded potato crust surrounded by chickpeas in a delicious middle eastern sauce. Loved the crispy cauliflower too. Because everything is served as soon as it’s ready, our appetizer came out last but it really didn’t matter. Everything here is a lovely surprise.
