Outstanding food in an outstanding locale. Friendly service, and not a stuffy atmosphere at all. Some of the best scallops and lobster we’ve had anywhere. Filet was a little under seasoned. This is our go-to in Telluride now that the Cosmo has closed. You will like it!

We eat here regularly when in town and the food is always excellent. On this visit, our server, Lucia did a great job and was personable and attentive. Chef Victor also stopped by and even made a special dish for us that isn't usually on the menu at this time of year. Thanks to the entire Elway's team for always going above and beyond!

We dine at Elk Ave Prime relatively frequently, but this most recent visit was one for the books. Kevin, our server, was more than excellent, going above and beyond to ensure we not only enjoyed our beverages (especially the champagne, in my case), appetizer (the octopus dish was delicious, with the potatoes shining alongside the grilled octopus), and our main (we shared the surf and turf board for two; the lobster was perfectly cooked, the kebobs were delicious, but the in-house made sausage stole the show). We had such a great time, and Kevin even threw some trivia questions our way, which was so fun. The summer menu shines, and we look forward to returning soon to try out some other entrees.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The wait staff were friendly and attentive and helpful with the many choices on the menu. The steaks were perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. We also ordered 2 appetizers and 2 sides that were also very good. Would highly recommend the Monarch Chophouse.

I have been going to Russell's for many, many years; I am a local. Russell's is one of my go to, top notch dining establishments in Vail. The decor is similar to the upscale steak restaurants in NYC - subdued with a happy ambience. The waitstaff is always at your command and they make sure all is as it should be without you asking. The FOOD - OUTSTANDING! Everything on the menu is done to perfection as per YOUR desires. Of course the scalloped potatoes are a must. When in Vail, Russell's is a must.

Our server Charlie welcomed us to the Ore House’s beautiful patio, which had just opened for the season. After enjoying our cocktails, mocktails, and wine, we started with the steak bits and its wonderful teriyaki sauce. All six of us then ordered the $19.71 prime rib special, which comes with assorted sides and one of the best serve yourself salad bars in town—a phenomenal value. We all had enough to take some prime rib and leftover sides home with the cinnamon rolls for yet another feast today.
