Amazing food, owner is super friendly. A real find for us, been back 3 times so far, always great dishes and the pizza is one of the best! Great service.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant of all time! We have been fortunate enough to dine all over the world and we can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience at Taikun. The host and chef are incredible and the food is out of this world!

Honoring Chef Miki Izumisawa, the female, award-winning sushi artist, originally trained by the one and only Nobu Matsuhisa. Intimate and small yet food is big on flavor, quality and taste. Fantastic service and food. Interesting sushi rolls. Favorites are Laguna Canyon, Emerald Bay, PG Sashimi, appetizers shishito peppers Great cold beer like you get in Japan. Very fresh fish.

I went for a birthday dinner and sat at the bar. The bartenders were all amazing, and very attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. I’ll definitely be going back.

Our second time here and our meals were very good, and the staff was very attentive. The only downside was the seating; the two tables fitted together in the back by the fly zapper wasn't ideal. We had a reservation, and there were several tables open that could have been fitted together to accommodate us.

We were pretty unfortunate to get a VERY annoying and disrespectful customer during our dinner, however, I can’t grade the restaurant lower since the food and service was amazing. Shoutout to chefs Edie and Yoshi for making the best sushi and making the experience as good as it could be. We’re looking forward to coming back soon and try the new menu!
