Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. Ryan R. was our sever and he went so far above and beyond that I have a hard time describing it in words. He owed us nothing but knew we were dining for a special occasion and it went from special to unforgettable all because of his exemplary service and thoughtfulness!!!! Great fish halibut and sea bass. Watermelon feta salad delicious! There was a wedding reception that wasn’t really loud but older couple 60? Daughters gave unbelievable speeches we were in booth next to their party but it was actually cool to her the love in the speeches. They had dessert which included baked Alaska and after seeing that we did too! Great service awesome food!

801 Chophouse has absolutely become our go to, upscale Steakhouse (or chophouse if you will). Compared to other options in Minneapolis, St. Paul, we feel 801 stands out for a few reasons. First and foremost, it is not a pretentious place. Each time we have gone, we have never felt judged, or made to feel like we were trying to outclass ourselves. Second, the food is incredible. Their Prime Rib really is the best in town. Actually, it's the best I have had anywhere. Not to mention their mushrooms as a side; incredible and unique. Third, the service, which goes along with #1 and being treated with respect, appreciation, as well as being guided through a great experience. Finally, the location is awesome, easy to get to and the atmosphere inside is wonderful. It's a quite place, with the right lighting, nice booths, a beautiful bar, and so much more. Plus, check out the "Sunday Supper". We had not done that before and glad we did; I see more Sunday nights at 801 in our future.

An annual birthday celebration - let them know and the staff will make it great. The food is consistently great - we get New York strip and fillets. Love their crab cakes too. Highly recommend!!!

The history of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants began when Bill McCormick purchased Jake's Famous Crawfish Restaurant located in Portland, Oregon, and brought the more than 100-year-old landmark back to life. When asked the secret of how he revitalized a restaurant on the brink of closing, McCormick says, "I like nothing better than being a good host." Part of the managerial talent McCormick tapped was Doug Schmick, a management trainee. The two formed a partnership in 1974, creating Traditional Concepts, a precursor to today's McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants. In 1979, they opened the original McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant in Portland, Oregon. The combination of an open imagination and a respect for tradition are what makes McCormick & Schmick's the classic and successful business that it is today.

Excellent dinner. Fillet was done perfectly, best I ever had. Understaffed so our server waited on too many tables. That said, he did a great job.

As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities.
The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.
The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops. A selection of living floor plants divides tables to create intimate seating. Bringing warmth to the room, the bar and adjacent fireplace keeps guests cozied up to a menu of progressive cocktails.

Welcome to Masa & Agave, a speakeasy-style cantina hidden below stairs at the historic Hotel Ivy in Downtown Minneapolis. On Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's from 8pm to Close we are first-come, first-served and do not accept reservations during this time.

Worshipped as the Aztec gods of fertility and long life, venerated for their powers of sustenance, corn masa and agave have been central to Mexican culture and cuisine since ancient times.

Using authentic techniques, we prepare corn masa-based starters and Mexico City-style tacos that are bursting with regional flavors, along with dinner classics like Pork Carnitas and Negro Monelo-Braised Beef Short Ribs.

Our collection of 200 agave spirits pays homage to the jimadores and mezcaleros who have labored over their craft for generations. Sip on a copita or two, or gather friends for one of our signature Margaritas - try the Tradicionale, Tamarindo or a Margarita al Gusto mixed with your choice of spirit. Salud!

Love the place. Food and drinks were great. Service was attentive and polite. Great date spot with the low lighting. We be going back.
