Since I was a university student, I've gone (then as guests of my parents) to French Hen. It is a special place for my family and friends. Lots of memories. Its newer location downtown is marvelously and thoughtful put together by Kathy, the owner. Many, if not, all of the kitchen staff made the move with Kathy. I go for duck entree! In forty years (!!!) I've been disappointed.

We've been here a few times and always enjoy it. It is such a nice, cozy atmosphere with really good food. Drinks were excellent. My wife got the duck and I got the halibut. Both were fantastic. We'll be back for sure!
