The Mountain House has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Serving as a rest stop for travelers, loggers and homesteaders in the Santa Cruz Mountains- we have evolved into a beloved destination known for our Coastal Countryside cuisine and rustic, intimate ambiance. Offering a menu highlighting game meats, locally sourced ingredients, and a curated selection of California and Old World wines, the Mountain House is one of the most unique settings in California. From a roadhouse to fine dining, the unassuming red cabin has stood the test of time along with the majestic redwoods that surround it.

Today, the restaurant is owned and operated by distinguished chefs Dmitry Elperin and William Roberts. We offer a three-course prix fixe menu for in our dining rooms and additionally, we serve an à la carte menu in our bar and lounge, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. While it takes a bit of a drive to get to Mountain House, it is more than well worth it! What a dreamy place to spend your evening. Ask for Sebastian, and hop that Will, one of the Owner and Chefs will be cooking. This restaurant deserves a star...or two. I lived in Northern Italy for almost 3 years-I know fine food!

We really enjoyed our Dinner Date night. Well ordered two appetizers Mushroom Empanadas, and a shrimp filled phyllo dough. Both came with great sauces. For dinner my husband had a Vegetarian Mushroom dish; my dish was similar with steak tenderloin pieces. Both were served with rice and French fries. This is our third visit. We will return again. Enjoy!

Floor to ceiling windows that look down on the beach makes Moonraker restaurant a go to spot for food and an excellent view. Situated inside the Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Moonraker serves lunch, dinner and happy hour!

A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, Chef's selection of oysters and ahi poke. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken parmesan and a vegetarian tagine. The chef makes a lot of the offerings gluten free, like crispy calamari and coconut prawns. Be sure to save some room for bananas foster bread pudding or campfire s'mores with a table side hibachi.

We had a nice lunch. The pea raviolis were very good. We also ordered clam chowder, the date appetizer, oysters, and calamari. The table we got had full window view in front. We were able to see whales spouting off in the distance, which was a highlight of our meal. The kids enjoyed seeing that very much.

It’s such a lovely spot to have a meal! Food is fabulous and inventive! It seems very expensive upon first looking at the menu but we have discovered plates are sharable ! If it’s your first time ask your server about size!

We had an absolutely lovely evening at Kincaid's. Service was pleasant and efficient throughout the meal. We highly recommend the 7 oz filets - cooked exactly as requested - with the simple but elegant sides of potatoes and asparagus. So beautiful to watch the fog roll into the Bay as the sun sets! One of our favorite regular spots!

First time at this location. Love that it’s closer to home. The family and I loved the food. One thing, where we were seated the ac was pointed directly to us. So it was cold. Easy fix, I switched with my daughter.
