We went to Valenti with our friend. Cristiano pleasantly greeted us and seated us at a table for four. . Duilio said he just received a shipment of fresh matsutake mushrooms. He said he would cook something for us if we would like. We started with the delicious home grown tomatoes in their panzanella salad and the radicchio and apple salad. We then enjoyed one order of their fabulous costletto and three orders of fettuccini with matsutake mushrooms. The pastas were out of this world because of the quality and fresh matsutake button mushrooms. After we were stuffed, we still enjoyed the home made gelato with fresh slices of strawberries and raspberries. Overall, it was a 12/10 dinner experience. The matsutake mushrooms ate very seasonal and if they don’t have a supply Duilio would make other home made pasta dishes! You would not be disappointed with ANY meal at Valenti!

This is a little gem here in Novato! Really enjoy going there. There's a piano man, which is really nice. Food is yummy, there are also some nice little touches at the table, I won't tell though. It's a small place. Makes for a good night out.

I haven’t lunched at Poggio for more than four years, and I loved it then…and even more now! On this very hot day in October, the restaurant along the Sausalito waterfront was cool and inviting. Our waiter Carlo was funny and attentive and knowledgeable . I and my lunch companion are both estimable home chefs, and my friend Jane declared this was the best meal she had had in months! She started with the corn timbale (sformatino?) which is like a flan custard baked in a ramekin, I tried a bite and it was exceptional. We are both going to try to make it at home. I had the chicken liver mousse on crostini, decorated with pistachio nuts, marinated red onions and plum slices…absolutely fabulous. The duck leg confit salad Jane had was beautifully done and tasty, and my pappardelle with duck and beef ragu was scrumptious. No room for dessert although the menu looked good. Going to go back more often.

Enjoyed the delicious family-style roasted chicken dinner - vegetables, mac+cheese, green salad, warm bread, french fries. Enough for family of 3-4. Had also ordered the ravioli which was an excellent surprise. Dessert was the warm & tasty tart tartin. Glasses of wine were perfect. Service was attentive and friendly. A most enjoyable outdoor midweek meal.

Trident is by far my favorite restaurant in Sausalito. Being local, I like to introduce friends to the best places. Trident never disappoints! I appreciate the vegan/vegetarian items on the menu. And I always explain the restaurant’s rich history dating back to the sixties. Most people don’t know. I miss seeing your sign that gives a little blurb about Janis, Jim, and Otis, etc. whatever happened to it?

We are centrally located off Hwy. 101 in San Rafael, across for the famous Frank Lloyd Wright Marin Civic Center. La Toscana is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant and bar located in Marin County. It was established in 1985 by Paolo Mori, his wife, Marilyn, and Michele Quilici. The owners all grew up in Lucca, Italy and immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1950s. They wanted to create an atmosphere that reminded them of home – a place where locals would gather to eat, meet friends and family and celebrate with food and wine as every Italian family does. Chef and co— owner Giovanni Racanello joined La Toscana in 1986. Paolo and Marilyn’s daughter, Laura Mori Riella, and youngest son, Michael Mori, joined the La Toscana team in 1992 and 2002, respectively. Paolo loved to make people feel welcome and, just like all the Moris, enjoyed his food and wine and loved to see others do the same. This is the proud tradition that La Toscana carries on.

The venue was very pretty and romantic. The perfect place for a warm night of outdoor dining. It was quite and peaceful. The food was good and the service was great. Easy parking near by
