About the restaurant
62 years of loyal customers can't be wrong. We are grateful to all of our customers, employees, and critics (...though we may not always agree!). The only way to find out the truth is with a visit. Oft imitated, never duplicated. Thank you in advance.

WE had a party of 10 and our table was ready right on time. The service was perfect. We never felt rushed and delivery of food and beverages were spot on. The prices are the hidden gem of The House of Prime Rib. It is astonishing the value and quality of the dinner.

Financial District / Embarcadero
About the restaurant
Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios. For the love of her, Orion forged the island for wild game and seafood to prepare elaborate banquets in celebration of their love. Today, we hope you will enjoy your own celebration as you dine at Kokkari Estiatorio on food “fit for the Gods” prepared with an Aegean palate and the style of innovative California fare.

Great Greek appetizers especially the smelt! The lamb chops are my husband's favorite. I love the Moussaka. Service is always impeccable.

Service was amazing as servers and host were very accommodating to any specific needs. The menu was a bit pricy for the servings and quality, but still was overall good.

Beautiful restaurant, great, friendly service, delicious food and drinks. The crab enchiladas are the best anywhere. The chips and salsa which come automatically are really good too. It was slightly loud when we arrived (loud music) but somehow we got used to it and it no longer bothered us. This place did not disappoint. Another high quality dining experience like you’d expect from the Duggan family.

About the restaurant
***Scoma's gladly welcomes reservations, as well as walk-in guests on a first come first served basis. You can also call 415.771.4383 during our operation hours for assistance with reservations. ***

Our Fisherman's Wharf seafood restaurant is steeped in a family tradition of quality and service. Still family owned and operated, Scoma’s opened in 1965, when brothers Al and Joe Scoma took over a six table coffee shop serving fishermen on the wharf. Using their mother’s recipe collection, the Scoma brothers' humble café evolved over the years becoming the quintessential San Francisco dining destination it is today.

We loved our dining experience at Scoma’s Fisherman’s Wharf. We ordered the steamed mussels, crab cakes and shrimp pasta. We shared everything, and finished off the meal with tiramisu. Our server was awesome, and I noticed all the other servers were so friendly and welcoming also. The wine was pretty expensive (in my opinion) but overall the food prices were fair. We really enjoyed our evening.

Nice upscale place for dimsum. There was a 65th birthday party that took up most of the tables. Best dish we ordered was the Special Harborview beef.

Just amazing! We moved from San Francisco 3 years ago and couldn’t wait to get back to Zuni. Everything was just as good if not better than we remember.
