My name is Mr. Tipple. Just a simple and laughable bloke hailing from London. I run a recording studio. My friends joke that you’ll oft find me spinning cocktails, not reeling tape. After a few too many, I usually just sit back and enjoy the music, having forgotten to hit record. Regardless, the band is always jiving, the whiskey is always cold, and we’re having a smashing good time.

Offered in two sizes, plus a slice window for those busy nights in Thrive City, we are pulling out all the stops on our pizza creativity. Beyond pizza the menu features a selection of antipasti, salads, and sandwiches. We are also thrilled to feature our incredible gelato and sorbetto, churned daily as soft serve. This may be my favorite pizza in SF. Something about the crust is unusually delectable. I also like the water / Bay Bridge view at this location. I am not crazy about the set up: you have to scan the QR code for a menu and order through a phone, which I find annoying. If you want to read the descriptions of the glasses by the glass, you have to click and expand to see each description and then go back to the main menu. Just give us a physical menu so we can easily see what's what at a glance. I would have ordered more, but I was too frustrated with the phone-based menu to bother. That said, I love the pizza enough to come here anyway.

We came before we went to a play in the city, so it was early. We really enjoyed our meal and drinks. It was too early for music but I loved the ambiance and definitley want to come back and enjoy the music.

There were 11 in our party. We ordered the pre-set meal for 10 people and there was plenty of food. We had 3 crabs, chicken salad, Emperor egg rolls, string beans, steamed sea bass, steak cubes, garlic noodle and ice cream for dessert. The food was DELICIOUS with large servings. They were busy but the service was still very good. I would strongly recommend Golden Crab House if you’re looking for a delicious meal with family or friends!
