We are located downtown Spring Lake, MI on the back side of Epicurean Village Down (facing the dollar general) We are an European inspired Bistro and Café. Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner! Everything from croissants, pain au chocolat, muffins, and scones, to desserts, macrons, and fine pastries. We have selection of coffee, tea, and espresso beverages along with a full bar, classic cocktails, and wine selection. Our menu is French inspired with classics like quiche Lorraine, croque madam, salad Niçoise, and jambon buerre. Our dinner menu rotates seasonally with weekly features. As usual, Chop Shop did not disappoint us! We had cocktails, a classic old fashioned and a tequila old fashioned. Both were very good with a fine balance of alcohol vs simple syrup. We shared a caesar salad as an appetizer that was ok. It needed more anchovy flavor from additional white anchovies and perhaps more zing to the dressing. As sides we shared the bone marrow mushrooms which were excellent as were the potatoes dauphinoise. Entrees were the 6 oz filet prepared to a perfect medium rare and a rare cowboy cut. Both were perfect. A creme brûlée and an espresso completed our meal. Service was attentive and friendly. All in all, another wonderful evening at Chop Shop!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday as a party of 6. We did make reservations at were seated almost immediately. Nick, our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert!!! Everything was wonderful. My Asian Chicken Salad was delicious. I could taste every flavor! We will definitely be back!
