Our dinner food quality was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the Penne Rustica, Shrimp Blanca & Chicken Piccata dishes ordered. Our waiter was very attentive yet not intrusive. The bummer was the ambience and noise level. The tables were a little close together so we were privy to every conversation around us. We will return because of the food quality though!

Canggio Restaurant is a classy but casual dining atmosphere for guests to enjoy the unique offerings of Peruvian cuisine.

Some well-loved dishes are Trio de Ceviche, Pato, Seco de Lomo, and Arroz Chaufa.

Chef Julio Cancho is born and raised in Peru, but classically trained in French and Italian cookery. He adds a Peruvian twist to some American dishes also on the menu.

Peruvian cuisine, considered among the best in the world, inherited its innovation, mix and flavors from Peru’s history. Its culinary fusion developed over a long process of cultural exchange between the Spanish, Africans, Chinese, Japanese and Italians, among others. The dishes became more and more varied as races mixed and migrants landed at the port of Callao.

Amazing experience. Great service, amazing fresh fish and chill ambiance. We ordered several things from the menu and everything was delicious. A plus is that this restaurant is BYOB. Highly recommend it!

Our Mystic location specializes in authentic, house-smoked BBQ along with other Dog Watch staples, including lobster rolls, fish 'n chips, burgers and more. Our Mystic location is the perfect place for families with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a large kids area, lawn games and gardens. Come enjoy amazing food with great people in a casual environment. Other services available include take out and catering.

When reserving a table, 'standard' tables are indoors, and outdoor tables are specified. Please specify in visit notes if you prefer a high-top table. Reservations are for parties up to 8 people, and tables are reserved for one hour and thirty minutes. We do have outdoor heaters, but it can be chilly. Dogs are permitted on a leash at outdoor tables. *Outdoor reservations are not guaranteed an indoor table if it is raining*

Brought out of town relatives to DW, Mystic. One had fish and chips with side of DW kale salad instead of coleslaw. One had soup of the day. Husband had DW salad with added blackened salmon. I had the Tuscan Salmon with grilled shrimp in spinach and roasted tomato cream sauce with two sides…DW salad and mixed vegetables. Service was very good. Food delivered to table in reasonable amount of time. All dishes were served hot. Guests enjoyed the fish and chips, soup, and the kale salad. Blackened salmon was just right. Tuscan Salmon dish was extremely delicious. (Definitely will order this dish, again.) Husband and I are “locals,” so we definitely will be returning.
