A real jewel, small, good-looking, friendly, with a nice variety of fish of superb freshness and quality. The toro, from Spain, was particularly good, as was the scallop sashimi with yuzu koshō. We also had both a classic roll (spicy yellowtail) and a signature one (miso cod), both excellent, and saw some others that we want to try. The prices are on the high side -- but cheap sushi is always suspect, and anyway it's BYOB, which cuts the bill down. We'll definitely be back.

Canggio Restaurant is a classy but casual dining atmosphere for guests to enjoy the unique offerings of Peruvian cuisine.

Some well-loved dishes are Trio de Ceviche, Pato, Seco de Lomo, and Arroz Chaufa.

Chef Julio Cancho is born and raised in Peru, but classically trained in French and Italian cookery. He adds a Peruvian twist to some American dishes also on the menu.

Peruvian cuisine, considered among the best in the world, inherited its innovation, mix and flavors from Peru’s history. Its culinary fusion developed over a long process of cultural exchange between the Spanish, Africans, Chinese, Japanese and Italians, among others. The dishes became more and more varied as races mixed and migrants landed at the port of Callao.

The menu is quite expansive and owing to the overall excellence of our dinner, Canggio certainly earned a few more visits if only to explore the menu further. The food is delicious and strikes an authentic Peruvian note and the portions hefty. The server, Elena, was friendly, thoughtful and efficient. We're very happy to have found out about Canggio.

We always have a great meal at Ola Latin Kitchen and this night was no exception. Our friends who had never been there went home with a list of dishes they want to go back and try. Super friendly service too.

The service was the best we’ve had in a very long time. The staff worked together so well, waiters, busboys, managers all doing a really, really great job. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the noise level. To be honest, finding restaurants that aren’t too loud is very hard. The food was delicious and the value also great. Highly recommend!

Kawa Ni is my favorite restaurant in Westport . The broccoli salad is outstanding and easily enough for two. The sashimi is top shelf and I cant live without the crab rangoons. The ramen is excellent as well, Something for everyone here. It hets packed on the weekend, but they usually have room at the bar for walk ins.
