Opening in 2006, Liv’s Oyster Bar and Restaurant quickly became a dining destination in Old Saybrook. Inspired by his daughter, Olivia, and years of experience in the restaurant industry, owner John Brescio set out with a desire to welcome the community to his family’s table.

If you want sushi or seafood, Go Fish is the place to be! We got the Go Fish roll (sushi) and absolutely loved it. We also got the Asian salmon and the shrimp w/vegetable skewers. Both meals were so good we ate every bite. The staff was lovely, the restaurant was clean, calm, and comfortable. If I lived nearby, I’d go here all the time.

Had a great experience at The Whelk. The food was stellar and we were visited by the bartender, Nico, who told us about all the thought that went into his very delicious cocktails and then surprised us with one of his creations at the end of our meal. 10/10

Harbor Light was a wonderful place to celebrate on the water. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, the service was great, and the ambiance was perfect. The dining room is set up in a way where everyone can view the water and sunset. Excellent for special occasions and seafood lovers.

I had a Great experience Loved the chicken Broth … we had Cesar Salad was amazing 🤩 and I had the chicken taco 🌮 was ok … the portion was small only 2 tacos should be at least 3 since they are small for the price and filling inside was also small , chicken on dry side which I was expecting moist juicy for this dish… but overall ok My husband had the Seafood bow and was excellent. Fresh! And Delish!

Sunday brunch was amazing! So many choices: beef, ham, bacon, sausage, shrimp, cod, salmon. Tables full of baked goods, salads, sides, an omelet station, loaded dessert table…just more than I can name. Lovely setting, beautiful views. Clean, quiet, well decorated. Would highly recommend for a special birthday or anniversary.
