This was my first time visiting the restaurant and everything we ordered was full of flavor. Looking forward to coming back and ordering a different dish. The pineapple upside down cake was warm and melted in my mouth.

Great place. We stopped in for dinner before a show at PPAC and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The service was great, the waiter was very friendly. We went with something we knew for dinner since we were on a time restriction, but we can’t wait to go back and explore the menu!

All the way back in 1955, the four sons of an immigrant millworker decided to take a chance. They opened a restaurant on Cumberland’s bustling Mendon Road with nothing to their names other than a shared dream and vision - fresh and local ingredients, prompt and friendly service, all to be had at an unbeatable value. They developed a motto and never steered away from it – “If you are not proud of it, do not serve it!”. That restaurant was the original Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille, and that motto can be found hanging in each of our kitchens to this very day.
While times change, our values don’t. As a third generation, family owned and operated company, our food is still made fresh in our commissary 7 days a week and delivered to each of our locations daily . Same ingredients, same recipes, same classic food that Rhode Islanders have come to know and love since our grandfathers first opened our doors nearly 70 years ago!

After 6 years and two coffeeshops, we present to you our first full service restaurant. Kaffeology in Cranston is a unique restaurant offering elevated brunch plates, cocktails, and mainplates for dinner. Our focus is on fresh, quality ingredients which is why we pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen. Every dish is carefully prepared and made to order just for you. Inspired architecturally by Sedona Arizona, the interior of the space transports you out of Rhode Island and into a plant filled, desert oasis. Our brunch is served every day until 4pm with dishes such as our famous creme brulee French toast, chimichurri skirt steak platter, fried chicken eggs benny, or lemon blueberry pancakes. Our coffee is organic, single origin, and freshly roasted in Boston! The creme brulee latte and brown sugar rosemary, among many others, are made with carefully crafted syrups made in house. At night the cafe transforms into a dinner restaurant but some brunch options are still available!

Came in for dinner on the 4th before Waterfire and had a great time! I had a great server and really enjoyed the spicy clams appetizer and porchetta entree.

The inspiration for Needle and Thread came from the history of the space located at 45 Peck St. in Downtown Providence. For more than half a century Antonio Conte dutifully served the professionals in the city's center, with an old world style haberdashery, providing suits, outerwear and evening attire. For more than 2 years Needle and Thread was constructed piece by piece with the same attention to detail and love as Mr. Conte poured into every garment he constructed.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! *and I’m a restaurant manager so you know it’s good. We came from out of town and I left a note on our reservation that we wanted to watch the caps game. We walked in and told the host we would head to the bar. Before we even got to the bar, the manager (gentleman with glasses) approached us and let us know that he saw our note and he would have the game on for us. Already impeccable service. The bartenders were great and food was awesome. We had the steak nachos. Around 9pm a dj set up at the end of the bar right next to us, the same manager came over and offered for us to move wherever we wanted to finish the game with less noise. He constantly checked in on us and was engaged the whole time. At one point we asked where the bathroom was and the other manager a women, overheard. She waited until I headed that way and led me to the bathroom. We were truly treated like vips. The whole place was clean and had such a fun vibe. 10/10 recommend.
