We offer a variety of specialized entrees, such as a Bacon-infused pork chop, an Filet Mignon with roasted red pepper compound butter and we always have fresh Seabass that will melt in your mouth over a variety of sets.

Food was OUSTANDING, wish we had room for dessert! Ambience is quaint and cozy, staff were friendly, genuine and attentive. What an amazing gem that I’m so glad we tried!

We were meeting friends from out of town and wanted to have them experience a wonderful dining experience. Joe, our server was professional, helpful and friendly.The ambiance and food were excellent. Our out of town guests were impressed.

Sunday Brunch had a very limited menu but the food was delicious. Highly recommend the French toast. The homefries were ok. The view was stunning. Highly recommend for the vibes!

We traveled upper New York State for over 8 days. We ranked the food and experiences we had …. including some very high level restaurants and all of us agreed this was the best food and dining experience we had. This is a diamond that many may overlook as it was not in the major area but close enough for us from The Red Coach Inn in Niagara Falls to drive. So thankful we did . Hunter sat us down outside by the river . Service was awesome as Hunter almost read our minds on extra napkins, extra plates, water etc The food was fabulous !!!!! We left there so thankful we drove out there and were t intimidated by the construction crews working in the hotel etc. and had stayed. Highly recommend you put this restaurant on your short list !!!

Heirloom is a full-service restaurant that is located in the historic Athenaeum Hotel on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. From June 22nd - August 24th we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. On Sundays we have a wonderful brunch buffet and offer a buffet dinner only.

Starting May 1st a lounge menu is available 11am - 9pm daily. Reservations are not required for prior to June 22nd.
