Exceptional beef needs exceptional people on the grill. That's obviously the case at La Matera. Service is impeccable and extremely well supervised by management. An enjoyable experience that's not pretentious.

Our new favorite place. Attentive service, nice ambiance, and delicious food. Huge portions at reasonable prices. The pescado zarandeado is out of this world. And the tres leches cake might be the best in town. Love the Andares location, but Providencia spot is our favorite. Highly recommend!

Steak and rigatoni were great. Sides in general (especially the side salad or mashed potatoes) have been in decline for a while.

Jocelyn, our waitress, was amazing, always had a smile. Prices are very reasonable and portions are just right. We shared dishes appetizers but portions are just right. They had terrace seating so we experienced the indoor/outdoor vibe. Management kept coming to our table to check up on us and ensured we had an enjoyable dining experience.

Usually the food is great, this last time the beef carpaccio we ordered was flavorless, I had originally sent it away, the waiter then asked why, I explained. He offered to bring out another one, when he spoke with the chef they realized it hadn’t been prepared with the vinaigrette. Second time around it was correct.
