Arrive late evening for a birthday celebration Norberto greeted us at the door and seated us at a excellent table. The other wait staff wished Sheri a Happy Birthday Norberto was excellent on his recommendations, the food ambiance and sunset were superb. Elizabeth and I were very excited to open our restaurant in Downtown Stuart. After years of visiting our parents our hearts led us back here each time we considered a different location. Our son Taylor (our Executive Chef) and I, both have a culinary education and all three of us are extremely passionate about quality food,drinks and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoy taking great care of our guests. “the Gafford” is named after my grandparents who taught us how to enjoy life, have fun and laugh (especially at ourselves). My grandfather was in the Air Force and hospitality business all of his life and taught me so much about business, cooking and hospitality. I can remember when I was young visiting my grandparents on their farm. My grandfather used to teach me how to grill. My favorite dish to cook together was a giant Ribeye steak. On our menu, that is our signature item and we call it “the Gafford.” Welcome to the Gafford where casual meets upscale.

We celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at the Chef’s table. The combination of the Chef’s tasting menu and Lauren’s excellent service made it an evening we will never forget. We can’t wait to go back!!!

We took advantage of the Flavor of South Florida, and we were not disappointed. Barry was our server and was wonderful. My wife had wedge salad and myself chickpea hummus for apps. Outstanding. Entrees we both had mahi Rockefeller and was scrumptious, dessert was key lime pie and so good.

This was our first visit to Palm and Ivy and we will definitely be back! Sarah Kate is a fabulous server and was quite attentive. Al makes a wonderful cosmopolitan and it was just as I had asked. I had the parmesan encrusted halibut and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were quite good. We also split a fig and burrata salad that is a definite "must have"! Do make a reservation as it fills up quickly!
