Éttermünk 2011 nyara óta van jelen a budai várnál. A ’Terrace’ szó nem hiába került bele az elnevezésbe, hiszen a vendégek valóban úgy érezhetik, hogy egy másik világba, idilli környezetbe csöppentek, elég helyet foglalni a buja zöld növényzettel körülölelt terasz asztalainál. A kerthelyiség szinteltolásos építészeti kialakítása, a felső részen helyet kapott grillkonyha, a kényelmesen és tágasan elhelyezett bútorzat otthonos hangulatot teremt.

Our guests can indeed feel that they got into another world, an idealistic scene, it is enough to take a seat at the tables of the terrace surrounded by lush, growing greens. The leveled architectural design of the terrace, the higher level of the grill kitchen, the comfortably and loosely placed furniture, creates an intimate and also cozy feeling.

Macesz Bistro is an Eastern European bistro in the Old Jewish district of Budapest. We reopened Macesz after the pandemic in the spring of 2022. We can not wait to meet again our haunters and new guests as well.

The restaurant is suitable for exclusive events with up to 60 people as well.

Macesz Bistro is one of the most exciting culinary spots in downtown Budapest, an excellent choice for a romantic dinner, a family lunch or a business meeting.

There were 5 of us, the restaurant was pleasant, service great. A busload of tourists arrived, and the noise level increased, making conversation difficult. Otherwise, everything was great

Really lovely food and the waitress helped us pair it with some great local wines. The service was impeccable and they made us feel welcome even though we came in the clothes we had just walked around in the city with all day. All in all great experience for a very fair price!

Had a great meal at Bigfish. Shrimps were delicious and pasta meals were great. Would definitely recommend as staff were really friendly and the ambience was nice inside although we ate outside as was a lovely afternoon.

So, who am I…
I am coming from a large and highly sophisticated family, but if I am honest I was always the black sheep around. Nothing serious - of course, I mean from my part. :P I am eager to swim against the flow and to do what others may not even dream or think of trying.
I love to travel, to get to know other cultures and people from all around the world. I love to eat…oh my God all those amazing flavors and colors of the world.

The restaurant is beautiful with stunning views over the river! Nothing was too much trouble and they moved my booking around to help it fit our trip better on the day which was appreciated ! The food was excellent, I could have eaten the meal over and over again ! Highly recommend!

If you want to eat good, tasty food, it’s a good choice. The waiters are enthusiastic amateurs, but was ok. The food is good for it’s price. The atmosphere, the vibes are excellent and sepf-identical. Thanks for the experience, I’ll be back soon.
