I treated my husband to dinner out for Father’s Day at the Tanque Verde Ranch. Though not very far from our home, we’d never visited the restaurant attached to the ranch. The drive to the ranch is lovely, lined with towering Saguaros. The dining room is large, since groups of visitors can stay at the ranch for days or weeks. The menu is small and pretty meat-heavy, but there was a vegetarian option. My husband’s bucatini with pork belly in a creamy sauce was wonderful. I had a Sunday special—a version of nachos with sirloin—which was huge and delicious. The green salad on the salad bar was pretty sparse by the time I reached it—few additions to the frisée—but desert made up for any shortfall. The mixed berry pie was clearly scratch baked, and not too sweet with a lovely, short crust. The whipped cream on top was fantastic. The decor is sophisticated western with native materials. The service was friendly and efficient. We will return!

We went to Stables for both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day dinners. Our experience was excellent - Ambience, service, food and pricing. So I decided to bring friends back for an enjoyable ladies lunch. It was fantastic! I’m pretty sure Stables now has 3 more fans that will come back with their husbands soon.

I order the summer salad. Small portion. Served on a wooden board. It has mozzarella cheese, toast and other items. I asked for the grilled salmon. It was served quickly. Salmon cooked Correctly. However the salad (lettuce) portion was too small. Salad dressing a little watery in flavor Will probably order the caeser with salmon next time

Absolutely loved lunch here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The cozy atmosphere made it perfect for a relaxed afternoon out. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the Sweet Spicy Chicken. It was truly enjoyable with stunning views.

It's been a while since my family had Easter Brunch at Westward Look. We liked the small setting. However, the food got 3 stars since the eggs were COLD. Thank god the bacon was outstanding.
