About the restaurant
Enjoy exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere at Nook. It's a wonderful spot for enjoying a delicious meal while catching up with old acquaintances over lunch. Nook is located just south of the Prima County Public Library on East Congress Street. It opened in 2015 and has become a trendy eatery that serves up New American cuisine. Owners Nikki and Matt Thompson along with Todd Anderson are fellow Tucsonans who love their community. Local artists have work showcased throughout this contemporary restaurant. Nook also prides itself on serving up locally sourced food. Try the Godfather Benedict with prosciutto, arugula, poached egg hollandaise and balsamic drizzle for breakfast, or come down during lunch for a green corn tamale pie with cabbage salad. It offers take-out service and is open for breakfast and lunch during the week. This restaurant also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

We were there for Father's Day. Not a whole lot of people there, so we didn't have to wait for a table. Food is always good if you're into healthy, non-GMO. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Wildflower, flagship restaurant for Fox Restaurant Concepts, raised the culinary bar when it opened in Tucson in 1998. To this day, it continues to set the standard for innovative New American Cuisine featuring a melting pot of American classics with European and Asian influences. If that’s not enough, the restaurant offers 80 wines by the bottle and 25 by the glass – an excellent range for both the wine connoisseur and the novice.

Wonderful dining experience. Booked a surprise 50th birthday dinner for my husband - the Wildflower service was very attentive and kind, menu was fresh and arrived elegantly plated, and setting was open and light; all above expectations. Will be returning soon. Well done!

Cup Cafe at the Hotel Congress never disappoints. We went there on Father’s Day and had the most delicious NY Strip steak. After dinner they had a large assortment of deserts. I had the peach cheesecake, which was perfect. The cost was a bit pricy but well worth it. I definitely recommend Cup Cafe to locals or visitors.

About the restaurant
Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table.

We do not encourage our restaurant for young children. We do not have any highchairs in house and ask that you please bring your own if it is required.

We do not offer any outdoor seating. Private dining, kitchen counter and large party seating available. Email hello@batatucson.com for inquiries.

Bata is a unique restaurant in Tucson and does a great job filling the niche it has created for itself. We were a party of four and shared all of the plates we ordered. Even though we only had a few bites of each of the dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed the very flavorful food. In a way, it is better to have just a few bites in order to savor them more. With a big plate of food, it is really only the first bites that are the most enjoyable. We all had a great time - the food was great as was the service.

Very nice good food good service Just an FYI if you are wheelchair-bound, the dining room is not wheelchair accessible. There is a few steps you must walk down in order to access the dining room. The hostess did offer to carry a table up for us to help accommodate.
