Tomahawk has 80 delightful seats for you and your party to choose from. We have comfy corners matched with matte timber tables adorned with leather seats, where diners can enjoy their delicious meals under the ambient street lighting that pours in from above. Or you can choose to perch comfortably along the gorgeous timber dining bar set around our open kitchen and watch the theatre of a professional kitchen at work in front of you.

This place has definitely made it onto our list of the best spots for meat in Dublin. We ordered the T-bone steak cooked rare, and it was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly seasoned — something that’s not easy to get right. One thing I’d never seen before: they bring the different cuts of meat to your table so you can see their size and fat content. I thought it was a great idea because it really helps set the right expectations for your order. For starters, we had the octopus and the croquettes — both were full of flavour and really tasty. As sides, we chose the onion fries, which came in a very generous portion, and the potato mille-feuille, which was beautifully crispy, just the way we like it. Everything came with a selection of dips, and of course, being good Argentinians, there was chimichurri too. The service was excellent — a perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. It was actually my husband’s birthday, and they surprised us with a portion of ice cream and cookies with a candle. Highly recommended!

Located on the sixth floor of The Mayson Hotel is Ryleigh’s Rooftop Restaurant, with outdoor terrace. Take in the panoramic vista of the Dublin Mountains, the River Liffey, the city centre and even as far as Dun Laoghaire on a clear day! Comfy leather clad booths line the windows. An open kitchen and grill adds a sense of theatre to the room. Floor to ceiling windows make the most of the views and the only walls in the room are clad in beautiful veined marble. Ryleigh’s serves breakfast, lunch, Brunch (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays) and dinner. Ideal spot to grab a bite with family and friends. The dinner menu features tasty options such as Sizzling Prawns and Beef Tartare to start. A selection of Irish steaks for main (Striploin, Delmonico, Centre Cut Fillet, Tomahawk Ribeye for two, and John Stone's T-Bone for two) cooked over our charcoal grill, Pan-Seared Monkfish and delicious desserts such as Raspberry & white chocolate cheesecake and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Wonderful experience for our first visit. Delightful place, very clean, well presented. Staff were genuinely attentive and friendly. They worked the room with effortless ease. The food was frèsh, colourful, and very tasty. Delicious. We have planned our return.
