Afternoon Tea
South City Centre
About the restaurant
Ireland's most iconic drawing room looks out on the only garden grand enough to match: the glorious St. Stephen's Green. The Lord Mayor's Lounge is the perfect back drop for a special day in Dublin. A room sparkling with light; it is a welcoming setting for our celebratory theatre of that most civilised ritual: the art of Afternoon Tea.
The elements have remained unchanged over the centuries: a fragrant pot of tea, a succession of sweets and delicate sandwiches, fine china, fresh flowers and delighted laughter. This time is all about enjoying the lovely things in life, an experience designed to be shared and savoured. Time slows down and the art of conversation is revived.

From December 1st, our wonderful Lounge will convert to a casual dining venue from 7.30pm daily, allowing our guests to experience an exquisite food offering in our iconic setting.

North City Centre
About the restaurant
When we took over The Legal Eagle, we inherited some of the glorious features, and the building really spoke to us of old-fashioned pub-grub. We looked to the old traditions of pickles, roasts, meaty joints & braises and knew we should honour our traditional lexicon of producers where possible and also allow our guests to enjoy a lighter style of dining.

We make our own crisps, croqueta, our own Scotch eggs (they're really delish), and supporting our burgeoning salumi and farmhouse cheese industry with platters of cold cuts. We are smoking our own spuds and have a local vegetable grower growing to our needs !

We are crazy about beer, whiskey and gin but wine is where we started and it remains a driving force for us. We have a stellar cocktail and wine list written with love and care

We have an ever so slightly more formal dining room upstairs, which is also great for events, weddings, private parties and get-togethers and hugely popular with industry folk. Can't wait to see all!

Really enjoyed the roast here. One of the best I’ve had in a while. Not sure about the fruity beer I ordered but I should have asked first. Great portions on the food and was cooked to perfection.

From start to finish an amazing meal ..we had burrata, meatballs and cacio y Pepe rice balls as starters ..one topped the other . Mains were pasta with venison ragu, ravioli stuffed with Parma and ricotta , mushroom pasta and the seafood pasta ..OUTSTANDING .. Dessert we had beignets and semi freddo the only thing that topped the food was the service . One of the best meals ever ..
