Truly delicious, varied and interesting food. Far removed from traditional Indian restaurants. Good sized portions. and something for everyone. The service is polite but helpful with just enough information to help you choose and gauge your order size. Highly recommended!

Set in a gorgeous Grade II-listed Georgian villa, the decor is bright and modern but respects the building’s elegance and heritage.

The food, too, respects classical tradition, but is a contemporary take on British cuisine - combining influences from around the world in dishes based on fabulous impeccably sourced seasonal ingredients.

Enjoy an aperitif in one of the elegant lounges in the older part of the building before moving on to the sleek restaurant with its blonde wood beams, exposed stone walls and bi-fold doors opening onto the garden.

The knowledge and experience of Head Chef Luke Tipping shows through in the assured, confident nature of the cooking – and he has the skill to know when to hold back. Dishes are balanced and pure, with subtle modern touches and a pleasing clarity of flavour; be sure to try the signature tapenade bread rolls and delicious soufflés.

Service is enthusiastic and brims with personality.

The food and service were outstanding, I would definitely recommend 670grams to friends and will likely go back. First time with a tasting menu and it was exquisite, we would personally have preferred slightly larger portions.

You book a table. You are directed to your table without opening your mouth. You are asked if you want your usual drinks order. This is customer service par excellence. It is home from home. We tried the sausage sandwich and the halloumi sandwich with fries which is just what you need for brunch. The Medicine Empire is expanding and our experience shows why. Now more people can share the pinnacle in happy eating.

The food is very good, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Have visited the restaurant twice and on both occasions loved it. The waiter service is outstanding, always serving with a smile. Highly recommend it.
