Located in Binfield Heath, Henley on Thames. Orwells' Kitchen is headed up by Michelin starred chef Ryan Simpson & Liam Trotman. The aim is to source the best produce available locally and beyond to prepare delicious dishes with no fuss to let the quality of the produce shine. The kitchen takes a rural approach combined with modern cooking. The restaurants' been recognised in all the major guides and have continued to hold 4AA rosettes consecutively for 8 years. We have a nice relaxing lounge area and the atmosphere is cosy and classy. The garden area has great views and is open on warm days for dining. We are also dog friendly.

Orwells offers a choice of Al a carte, Wednesday - Sunday alongside a Tasting menu.
The Lunch menu runs from Wednesday to Sunday, its £45 for 2 courses and £55 for three courses. Sunday has a roast offering which in £55 2 courses & £65 3 courses, alongside the tasting menu and A la carte

Chose to visit Orwells as a treat as I only get back to the UK rarely during the year due to working overseas. Staff from the moment we entered to the moment we left were outstanding. Always on hand to answer any questions and attentive to ensuring we were always satisfied with every step of our experience. All I can say about the food is that it was an explosion of taste in my mouth and a party on my taste buds. We will be back. Highly recommended

Housed in a stunning 15th century chantry, customers can choose to eat under the soaring eaves of the great hall, up high in the minstrel's gallery, in the cosy bar by the fire or on the beautiful patio terrace.
With a passion for provenance, the kitchen sources food from the very best local suppliers and grow much of their own fruit and vegetables. Mark even fishes for his own crayfish and trout from the local reservoir! Cooking is modern British and menus change daily depending on what is fresh and seasonal - with the signature slow roasted pork belly, with foot long crackling, being a favourite.

Amazing food and have returned many times. As a family we have to deal with allergies (nut allergy and a coeliac) and the chef has always been able to accommodate us. 100% recommended

Wow - very impressive first visit for lunch !! Food and overall experience considerably better than anything we've experienced in the Henley-on-Thames / Reading area for many years. Feedback from friends and food guides has been positive, but this was much much better than we were expecting. Shared starters were excellent and moreish and all three of us loved our main courses. Rainy day, but we're looking forward to a meal out in the garden 🎯

Beautiful surroundings and lovely food, faultless service. Especially enjoyed being able to take our pre-dinner drinks outside onto the terrace - comfortable seating and a firepit and amazing views. We will be returning again.

Had an excellent lunch at the Dominic Chapman restaurant in Henley. We all had the set lunch menu which was extremely good value and the food was absolutely delicious. Service was great too. Highly recommended
