With family and a history in Colombo, our aim is to bring a taste of our Sri Lankan heritage to Buckinghamshire, England through our unique menu based upon old family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. This is our second time of visiting the Seven Stars and have to say it was equally as good as the first time, the food was excellent along with the service and ambiance. We couldn’t fault it so much so we have booked again.

The food was delicious and very innovative. It included many dishes I'd not encountered before. The food was also much lighter than is usual in Indian restaurants. The service was excellent and very quick. We will return!

An absolute culinary delight! The food was presented beautifully and was so flavoursome and plentiful. The service we received was excellent and the waiters so friendly and helpful. This restaurant is set in beautiful surroundings, perfect for a special evening. You may pay a little more but it is so worth it for the quality you receive.

It’s long been twice-Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar's dream to champion the cuisines of India, especially the sub-cultures of Bohri, Ismaili, Moplah, Chettiars, amongst others.

The menu of creatively enticing flavours and spices includes dishes created and cooked by Atul’s grandmother. Lunch will showcase our set 2 and 3 course menu plus the Jugalbandi set menu of four courses for two to share (£35pp).

For a time-honoured experience, the evening A La Carte menu offers characteristic main courses complemented by a great selection of wines, cocktails and customary Indian drinks. A gourmet 7-course Tasting Menu (£65 pp) will be available in the early evenings (Sunday to Thursday). All of this customary deliciousness pays homage Atul’s Indian upbringing and the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengali, Orissa, and other regions.

5 course tasting menu at lunchtime in the garden on a warm sunny day - very good indeed! Wonderful mix of flavours and great choices. Staff are friendly, attentive and well trained. Amazing value for money with the Travelzoo voucher - worth every penny!
