Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

A warm greeting by two members of staff who were helpful as it was raining helping with wet things Very nice table and the staff were exceptional food was as anticipated excellent and all the little extras that make the evening very enjoyable. For the first time having chosen a wine of a particular year I was advised they did not have that your but a different year and would I like to change my choice, that is a first normally you are never told of the different year, very impressed and very pleased Will definatly return

I organised a surprise dinner for my wife's 60th birthday alongside a group of friends at Colombo 7. The experience was first class from start to finish. The food was superb, consistent from our previous visits and as usual the service was efficient and welcoming. A nice touch from the restaurant was a drink or ice cream for each of the guests to celebrate my wife's birthday. Overall, yet again, a very positive and enjoyable experience at this restaurant and we will, of course, be returning!

Have never had a bad experience here. The food is incredible and the service is fantastic. Had a beautifully cooked bavette steak as it was Wednesday Steak night with a side of roasted carrots. Finished the meal with a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of coffee ice cream.
