We loved our time at Chartier. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was wonderful too. We were seated right next to the speaker, so the music was a little bit on the loud side for our tastes, but that said, the music selection was very tasteful and didn't distract from conversation as much as something else would have. The food has a very rustic, yet elevated feel. Like a home cooked meal your great-grandma would have made, but something she'd have pulled out for only the most special of occasions. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I had an incredible experience. We have been before and it was just as I remembered. The food was incredible and I didn’t eat one thing that didn’t taste delicious. It was so nice to be able to go outside halfway through the meal to catch the ambiance in the back and our server was amazing. It would’ve been nice to see some sushi on the menu to go along with the seafood selections, but I’m not complaining. Everything that was offered was awesome.

The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse stretches over 20,000 square feet with a seating capacity of over 700 dining room, lounge, banquet room, and patio combined.
This location has built its reputation on the Sawmill formula. Serving over half a dozen different cuts and sizes of Alberta beef one cannot go wrong ordering any one style. The Sawmill Prime Rib and Steakhouse has become known for many unique qualities and is open daily at 1130am except Sundays when we open at 3pm.

Fantastic experience! I was there for a business lunch meeting, sitting in the lounge. Atmosphere and ambiance was great. The restaurant was fairly busy and we still got attentive service. The owner, Tasker, wandered through the restaurant, greeting customers. You could tell many of them were regulars which is always a good sign at a restaurant. The menu is fantastic - if you can't find something you want on their menu, not sure where you will. I couldn't decide between three entrees so I left it to my server to decide and it was perfect. My three guests were equally as pleased. As prices are increasing everywhere, I found the Mill reasonably priced, certainly better than the competition and more generous portions. Thanks for a great experience! C
