Baekjeong literally means butcher in Korean which is a name we hold proud of.
We proudly serve only the finest cuts of Premium Alberta Sterling Silver meat which prepared by 15 years experienced butcher. Every table features a built-in grill (use gas) to allow you to dine at your own table.

All meat orders are accompanied by bottomless Korean style salads and vegetables. Combo meals have a choice of either soybean paste soup, kimchi stew, steamed eggs, soft-tofu soup or corn cheese.
Our relaxing atmosphere and juicy dishes make Baekjeong a perfect place to hold all kinds of parties and gatherings. Please reserve a spot a head of time for parties of eight or more.

We chose $95 set for two of us. We also ordered a sol de bibimbap. Didn’t realize all the side vegetable dishes are unlimited at first, but that was a great service. Food tasted good. Loved the fact they gave us a lot of leaves to wrap meat to eat. So much food that we took home some leftover. I would love to go back. But my partner may not because he was so tired of the noise and heat. Inside is incredibly noisy and hot!! Be aware.

When you join us for dinner, expect it to be a relaxing evening lasting a couple hours over several piatti (courses). Your table comes alive when we present a variety of large offerings on platters or bowls within easy reach of all.

A classic Italian pranzo (dinner) usually beings with a variety of antipasti (hot and cold appetizers), followed by one or two primi (usually a hot pasta, risotto, gnocchi or zuppa). Next your table will share a secondi (entrees) served on a platter combined with your choice of contorni (vegetable side dishes). Italians often complete their meal with un dolce, un caffe, or un digestivo (dessert, espresso, liqueur or grappa).

We do a family get together here annually, and it is the perfect ambience, with fabulous service and a family style menu that offers excellent food that satisfies all tastes. We plan to return many times. Try the Sea Bass.

Food and drinks were very good. Service also. I questioned the final bill as menu stated $10 for 6 oz glass of wine. Bill said $11. Server said it’s an old menu. Maybe someone should change the price then. He did adjust to menu pricing. Thanks for doing that. Overall The Common is very good.

Food was good but not exceptional. The Arancini were over cooked, the outside very hard but the inside was creamy with lovely flavour. My friend had the scallops which she said she enjoyed and especially liked the roasted cauliflower. I had the agniolotti which were nice and light, unfortunately the fresh peas were not cooked and were hard and starchy so I picked them out. Had they been cooked and sweet I think they would have been great addition. The chocolate dessert, if you love rich dark chocolate this is the dessert for you! We shared it and we couldn’t finish it as it is extremely rich.
