"Land- & Handmade" is the name of the game at the organic restaurant Wolfs Junge, which has now won several awards. The Michelin Guide, Gault Millau and Gusto have already recognised the consistently sustainable concept. It has also received awards from the Schweisfurth Foundation for Animal Welfare and the Bioland Association.
Head chef and owner Sebastian Junge completed his cookery apprenticeship at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten and gained experience at organic farms, with bakers, butchers and farmers - which is visibly reflected in every detail of his dishes. As a member of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance and Hamburg's first & only organic top chef, Junge works in a highly sustainable manner & is in close contact with his producers.
Nose 2 Tail plays just as big a role in the restaurant as innovative vegetable cuisine. The team pursues the highest standards of craftsmanship and sustainability, grows its own vegetables and celebrates the preparation of good food.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, drawn in by the whiskey title in the name. We were ever so pleased we found it, as it was some of the best service and food we have experienced. From the moment we stepped inside it was an amazing welcome and friendly service. Their knowledge of their extensive list of available whiskies is second to none. Would highly recommend to any whiskey lover in Hamburg!

Wir sind ein waschechter Mix aus St Moritz und Hamburg.
Unsere Speisen sind saisonal ausgelegt und bilden ein Potpourri aus Schweizer und mediterraner Küche.
Zu unseren Spezialitäten zählt das Bündner Trockenfleisch hauchfein von der Berkel-Schneidemaschine und Rösti-Variationen unter anderem mit Egli (Flussbarsch), Wienerschnitzel, oder ganz die klassische Schweizer Art mit Zürcher-Kalbsgeschnetzeltem.Rinderfilet an Grüner Pfeffersauce oder Chateaubriand am Tisch tranchiert.
Erwähnenswert ist auch Silles Swiss-Burger oder Mio's Risotto.
Unser besonderes Highlight nicht nur im Winter, sondern das ganze Jahr, ist natürlich das typische Käsefondue mit hauseigener Käsemischung, sowie Raclette.

Hier in dieser kulturell heterogenen Nachbarschaft machen wir unsere Geschichte zu einem Teil der Erfahrung der Gäste. Yaku ist ein Ort, der in Hamburg einzigartig sein will, ohne Bezug. Wo die Menschen aus aller Welt das Yaku-Konzept verstehen können, das weder besser noch schlechter ist als andere, dass aber nur hier erlebt werden kann. Jedes kulinarische Erlebnis ist einzigartig, wir sind aber davon überzeugt, unsere Gäste zu unseren Ursprüngen zu bringen. Das ist genau unser Konzept, Yaku als Heimat, in der es am wichtigsten ist, unsere Kultur zu schätzen – die Lebensweise, die Sitten und viel Mühe.

The coast by east is located at the end of the Großer Grasbrook, directly below the Marco Polo Tower and in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg Cruise Center. The strikingly curved roof structure was designed by the architect collective EMBT from Barcelona and is modeled on the open flapping of a seagull's wings.
In the warm summer months, the window front, which can be opened completely, combines the spacious terrace and the interior restaurant area to form a large open space with high ceilings and a sophisticated lighting concept.
Discover the walk-in wine cabinet, the open bar with a decorative back buffet and the plant wall in the restaurant, which is completely planted with real plants, and let yourself be pampered by the team of head chef Thilo Haberland.
