Here, upscale bistro cuisine meets a cozy, personal ambience. As far as possible, regional, seasonal products are served without frills, but with a sophisticated kitchen standard. We like it extraordinary and down-to-earth at the same time. The heart of every restaurant is the kitchen, they say ... This was recommended to us by a colleague when we were in Hamburg on personal travel. Not quite in the city centre but definitely worth a visit. Service was exceptional, particularly for non-German speaking people like ourselves. Food was top class - a wonderful experience.

Wonderful restaurant. Our server made it even more so - he was funny and entertaining but also helped us with our wine selections and in general was excellent! The food was perfectly proportioned - and they actually brought fresh bread to our table with olive oil too!

Cute setting, lovely little private glass cabins. Friendly staff and delicious food, if maybe a little overpriced as you’re paying for the ambience and location. But worth a visit especially for a romantic dinner.
