We enjoyed our dinner at Theo’s. It was a nice atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside. The filet and salmon entree’s were both cooked perfectly and the flavors were delicious.

We had a party of four. Everyone’s had different appetizers and entrees and all were excellent. There was a foul up in the kitchen that resulted in other parties seated 20 minutes after us getting their entrees before we got any appetizers. The waitress was stench to the max but really hustled to handle all her tables. Great attitude, personality, professionalism and understanding. Made sure we were compensated for our having to wait.

The Wardroom is situated on a prominent corner in historic downtown Easton, Maryland, in what was formerly The Brick Hotel — considered a marvel of its time in the mid-19th century. The gastronomic, European-style shop and bistro offers handmade pastas, house-cured meats, and artisanal chocolates from top French chocolatier, La Maison du Chocolat. Both a pasta and wine bar, the Wardroom’s menu consists of authentic Italian pasta dishes, cheese and charcuterie plates customized for each guest, and seasonal salads and antipasto dishes. The basement houses an extensive wine cellar and intimate tasting room called The Locker, as well as a temperature-controlled cheese “cave,” and a kitchen where chefs produce fresh pasta each day.

Upon entrance, guests are transported to a sphere of sheer refinement and spirit sophistication where one of the most impressive assemblages of Scotch in America is gloriously ensconced in the eloquent Federal Street enclave. An elegant evening progresses in an atmosphere of updated and distinguished Highland splendor: gleaming dark woods, handsomely refurbished period seating, gilt-framed oil paintings of Highland scenes, an intricately pargeted plaster ceiling, and, naturally, tartans galore. One of our favorites in Easton and we experienced their new expanded menu and dined outside. I think we tried everything on the menu including hand crafted cocktails, fried olives, short rib grilled cheese followed by an amazing corn chowder with lobster, strip steak, crabcake and burger were also part of the feast with the unmatchable service staff of Kelsey (sp), Emma and Adam! First class all the way!

Ava's St. Michaels takes limited reservations. The best way to get a table is our Call-Ahead Waitlist. Please call us at 410-745-3081 about an hour before you arrive and we'll text you when your table is ready. If you plan to "dine with your dog" on our patio, please call ahead even with an Open Table reservation. There is a two-dog limit at any given time.

This place is a “must try” in Easton. The tacos and the chips/dip selections are incredible. The setting is festive and there is something for everyone. If you’re a cocktail drinker, you’ll be in heaven.

We have been to many high-end restaurants and the relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and the outstanding meal made our evening very special since this was our first time in Saint Michaels. My filet mignon was the most tender and well prepared that I’ve ever had. My wife truly enjoyed her favorite dish, which is salmon. When in Saint Michael’s don’t miss this little gem!
